Thick yet lightweight. A comfortable fit on my dog who I have a hard time finding harnesses that fit for due to his shape. He has refused to walk at all in some harnesses but hasn’t had issues with this one. A top feature is that below the clips, there is fabric to prevent me from accidentally clipping his fur. It is good quality and holds up fine in a front loading washing machine on delicate and cold. I do not put it in the dryer because I’m not sure if it would shrink. It’s remained durable through pulling and is easy to put on once it is set to the right size, which is also easy to adjust.

Spendy no doubt but they are well made and have held up well so far with 2 strong goldens. I like the colors and design and they compliment our pups very nicely. Teal for our girl and blue for our boy. Sizing was on and the adjustability is nice as our girl is still growing.

If you have a corgi and cannot find the right harness, I highly recommend trying this. I bought the size small. It fits my corgi perfectly. He is getting over being very ill and he lost a lot of weight before the vet caught what it was, so this is fitting him at the smallest size possible around his chest. I added room atound his neck because he is so floofy, if I tighten it more, its harder to get off because of his maine. As he gains weight back, I will be able to loosen it, which let's me know I got the perfect size for him. He is 26 lbs currently, and needs to gain at least another 3 lbs still. Before he got ill, I spent too much trying to find a harness that works for him because he really doesn't like collars. This harness is perfect, the chest part is longer than I expected, but this is exactly why I like it. It's not too short for his long little self like almost every other harness Ive tried. It has a good sturdy metal piece on the back for getting him on a leash or his outdoor chain. There is also a smaller loop on the front, which I will personally not use, it doesn't seem as sturdy. I love how padded and thick it is around his chest, it doesn't catch and rub on his still sensitive lymph nodes. He actually enjoys wearing it, I get a little butt-wag when I pick it up. It's super easy to figure out too, the buckles are solid quality. I am just ecstatic that I found this. Although, it should be noted, my corgi boy has always been a super calm dog, even as a puppy, he's just quiet and calm. So, I cannot speak to the durability with a hyper dog in it.

I bought these for my two male Shiba Inu, they both weigh around 22 lbs so I bought the Small in the Blue Pool color, and the color is gorgeous!. This harness is excellent quality and fits them perfectly. There are a few negatives of this harness I want to mention though. They fit really tightly over the head and so my shiba's will duck and weave when I try to put it on them. They tolerate this harness but they don't love this harness. Another negative is that these harnesses are not easy to adjust at all. Like all harnesses you have to make sure you adjust them so they fit not too tight and not to loose. The other negative is that Ruff Wear doesn't carry them in many colors. Ruff Wear also has the WebMaster harness which is escape proof because it has two belly straps, but they really don't have any pretty colors. I have also introduced my Shiba's to the Julius K9 IDC harness and WOW! What a game changer! Now they sit patiently smiling and let me slip this harness on. It is so fast and easy I am just shocked and happy how easy it is to put on and off. And it looks super cute on them too! I also tried the Joy Ride Harness on them and they hated it. It is not comfortable at all. The straps are scratchy and the belly buckle is huge and rubs them directly on the back of their front legs! Joy Ride harnesses come in a lot more pretty colors but the quality of their product is awful! I returned the Joy Ride Harnesses. I really wish Julius K9 harnesses came in as many colors as the Joy Ride does. That said, I highly recommend the Julius K9 harness if you have a Shiba Inu. Another great harness that my male Shiba love is the Comfort Flex Harness. They sit patiently smiling when I put the Comfort Flex Harness on too! I also have a female Shiba Inu and she is a classic escape artist and I keep her in the Ruff Wear Front Range.

Very sturdy harness. Thought it might be too big for our Pomsky, but he's so much more comfortable in this harness than the previous one we had from another company. He used to try to hide when we'd be getting ready for our walks, but now it's a quick slip over the head and two easy clips and we're off. We can tell he's very comfortable in this Ruffwear harness. Much more pep in his step. He seems more confident too. The only downside, from my perspective, is the top ring (which we use to attach the leash) is plastic instead of metal like the front ring. While it's a very sturdy plastic, i wonder how it will wear. Very pleased with our purchase.

I love it. Very sturdy. Fits well. I previously had a Ruffwear Flagline harness (for escape artists). Both are very well made. My dog does not try to wiggle out of their harness anymore so the Front Range model works just fine. It works better for a strong pulling dog vs the Flagline.

Amazing quality and perfect fit. We go on so many adventures with our dog and through dust, water, snow, shrubbery, and all the movement, this thing is actually built to last. He is perfectly happy to nap in it and doesn't seem to notice it's there. It's very adjustable but also doesn't loosen over time which is great if they tend to pull at all. The fit is perfect for our pup, never rubbing his skin even on our 50 miles on a summer backpacking trip; hiking 4 days all day, only really taking it off to sleep / at camp. ALSO, all he has to do is see this harness and he gets crazy exited! He has come to realize this thing means fun absolutely loves it. He is a mini Aussie about 30 pounds. Best doggie purchase we've made!

J’ai acheté ce harnais Ruffwear Avant pour mon Shiba, connu pour être un petit expert de la fuite 😅. ✅ Points positifs : le harnais tient très bien, il est vraiment anti-fuite, sans être étouffant ni gênant. Le tissu est respirant et léger, ce qui le rend confortable même lors des longues promenades. Les sangles sont faciles à ajuster et le design est à la fois sobre et élégant. 🧠 Mon avis global : c’est un excellent harnais pour les chiens vifs ou craintifs. Mon Shiba s’y est très vite habitué et je me sens rassurée lors des balades.

I brought this June 2023 in small for my Frenchie. So nearly 2 years ago, been washed in machine at least 4 times, washes well.Easy drys. Fits really well on my dog, plenty of room if needed for adjustments, which are easy to do. Never any signs had it this harness on after walks, like marks on soft parts of legs. Great fit for Frenchies. I have it in red, no real signs of fading or fraying, really well made, worth money Harness. Used at least twice a day for walking and in car rides. I use it with another great product for the car, Mighty Paw Dog Headrest Car Seat Belt £18, that goes around headrest strong,easy to use heavy duty clips onto the harness. With the Amazon Basics Dog Car Seat, Pet Car Booster Bucket, Large £60, my dog loves the car seat, car see all and stays put in it. All these 3 products together i would recommend, easy, strong and safe.
