Easily stained. Very sturdy, very adjustable- not TOO comfortable.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Easy to put together, pieces fit well. Works with the original seat still attached to the toilet (at least with the elongated bowl), and the original seat down. Seems very sturdy. Our loved one weighs about 165, and complains that the seat is uncomfortable.She had a pretty bad "accident" this morning. We helped her onto the seat, and she left a big mess. We tried a few different cleaners, but the seat was stained, is stained, will continue to be stained. It's clean. It just looks gross.

Just what we needed.
We needed this when my step mother came home from rehab. It fit perfectly over the toilet and worked great for her. She's short so we were able to adjust it to work for her. The quality is great and it makes going to the bathroom a lot more stable for her. She can get up from the seat on her own which is a huge plus. It's very easy to use and put together. The price was great and it's good quality. I would definitely recommend for anyone who has trouble getting on or off the toilet.

Very sturdy chair for over the toilet. Also very easy to keep clean and sanitary. Sits on the floor with heavy duty handles and is very easy to get up and down.

Comfy for a woman, more difficult for a male
Comfortable for a woman, but a little more difficult for a male because of the bar that goes across the front of the seat.

You will need several feet of malleable wire to make the seat secure.
This product is sturdy and well made for the most part. It is easy to assemble. But there is one significant problem--the seat comes in two halves that do not clamp together, and every time you sit on it, the two halves spread apart. There does not seem to be any way to prevent this built into the design. I used the wire from a coat hanger to tie the plastic clamps together underneath the seat, but eventually that is going to break the plastic.

Safe seat for the toilet
Fabulous toileting chair. Lots of room for bigger folks. The hand rails make standing up do much easier and safer. The chair is adjustable at the frame where the seat is.
