Great functional bait mold. Fills out great every time and produces a clean bait!

It's O.K. for a stone mold. Won't produce top/bottom laminates because of orientation in mold. Looks close to a spunk shad. Will work O.K. for personal use baits. Would probably buy again if need be, but I'm only making baits for myself and maybe a few friends.

This is fun for me and the kiddo to do and then place a fishing trip. The mold is really nice to have and works great. Super durable and easy to use.

Great mold but will not shoot laminates top of bait and bottom of the bait. Only left and right. It’s great for solid colors.

This mold forms nice short fat worms ideal for bass during the right season. Closure is positive and easily clamped to form nice clean lure bodies. Works well with my standard injector. After setting up, I can pop out plenty of bodies for a weekend of fishing in short order, choosing colors and sparkles (if desired) to match what the fish have been hitting.

I'm super stoked by this faux stone mold. It produces clean, fine details and turns out spunk shad baits to rival the originals. It is light in weight but is of very sturdy construction. It's obvious that much attention was put into the details. I am extremely satisfied with this product and look forward to other designs.In addition, the packaging was excellent as well. This is my second mold from best_nj, and the quality is evident in this one too. There are no sharp edges and all the corners are rounded. The detail in the mold produces excellent details on the lures. The clamping mechanism securely holds together both halves of the molds as the plastic solidifies. It is best to oil stone molds every couple batches (if done in series) and before first use to ensure easy release. I used to be affiliated with a lure company - on the fishing end (pro-staff) - and this profile reminds me of one of the lures the company makes. It's kind of like a fluke but with a more streamlined body; I caught thousands of fish on those lures, and I'm sure this profile will do the same.

I got 3 of the stone molds recently and I was really concerned about them releasing, particularly on the tiny details, like the tails on these baits. They come to almost a point and they are so skinny. I will say that after the initial oil process they came out perfectly. They even came out with the overflow sprue attached.The little minnow style bait came out clean and was easy to touch up. I’m anxious to get it in the water, but I’ll probably make some more first.
