Works as well as the original. Loved my original Dust Deputy, was even more excited about the lower profile version. It has lived up to the Oneida reputation of quality, and performance. This fits so much nicer, and coupled with my new Hercules dust collector (Harbor Freight) has really helped the dust levels in the shop

This works amazing nothing gets by to plug up my filter in my shop vac.

Bought this sucker (on Amazon and not direct from Oneida) and was frustrated the casters didn’t stay when any pressure was exerted on the lid (which you need to do to latch). Threw the casters away, didn’t write a review, and just planned to feel like I wasted money paying extra for a rolling bucket.Next thing I know, a new bucket shows up. Apparently my bucket was defective. They realized it, and replaced it on their own. Incredible. So I dug the casters out of the bottom of a trash bag full of saw dust and BAM they work like a charm.O, by the way, the low profile design collects a ton of saw dust ranging from planner shavings to MDF and fits perfect under my miter saw. Oneida has a new customer for life now.

TransferOnce you get it set up, this thing absolutely works. Virtually zero sawdust goes to your vac. However, setup is a bit involved and the unit has to be carefully positioned on the bucket. During use, the suction from the vac keeps the whole thing together. However, it is easy to knock the unit off when it’s not in use. The manufacturer should come up with a better method of latching this to the bucked. Overall, it’s a good solution and definitely cheaper than other ways to collect saw dust. You may need to get an adapter to connect it to your shop vac.

This is a wonderful item and it greatly improves the efficiency of your shop vac having said that I ruined mine by attaching it to a harbor freight bucket, which was prone to imploding frequently imploding bucket can be hard on the seal, so make sure that if you’re going to buy this That you use a more durable bucket with it

Cheap crap don’t buy it. The lid doesn’t lock properly. It needs at least two or four more points for it to properly lock. Definitely not worth the money. If you are a hobbyist and you’re barely using it, maybe it would last. I’m a flooring refinisher. After using the low-pro for one day I can definitely say that this is a bad product.I’ve been using the original Oneida cyclone since 2016 and I still have it and use it every day. But I’m building a new vacuum for my new crew. Just wanted to try something new that they offered.Developer, please update the top to fit and lock properly a regular 5 gallon bucket.

I can't believe how great this works. I thought it would only separate out the really big stuff, it got most of the dust from my planer. I am going to try it on with all my other tools but I have no doubt that it works as advertised and review on you tube video. I am impressed. Only thing I wish is that it clipped onto Home Depot orange buckets better.
