The media could not be loaded. I chose Poposoap solar fountain because it said the solar has a back up battery and it also has good ratings on other websites. When I received mine it was packaged beautifully, everything was secure and the small items were in little zip baggies. It is made of a good quality plastic and the panel is a very nice quality too. It was super easy to set up and once I plugged it in to the solar panel it started running immediately, BUT if I put my hand in front of the panel it would stop running, I figured it might need to be in the sun for a few days to "charge" but even after a few days it still was not running in a shadow. I contacted their customer service, which by the way they have several ways to contact them: Chat on their website, e-mail or call .... yes, you can call them AND they answer!! BONUS: I had to hang up while waiting for customer service due to a situation at home and THEY CALLED ME BACK (unheard of) I am so impressed with their customer service, they are really nice and professional. They instructed me what to do about my fountain not working (send some information via e-mail) and they always get back within 24 hrs. and stated they would be sending me a new solar pump, that these have a 1 year warranty on them .... again, I don't think any other company does that. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and their products to everyone - Kudos to you Poposoap for being such an amazing company! I will update with a video once I get my fountain up and running.**UPDATE**Here is a video of the new solar fountain that Poposoap sent, as you can see it is working perfectly in the shade, but it will not run once night falls. These solar fountains are powerful for the size they are, I had to put a little regulator in mine to slow the water flow down just a bit. I am extremely happy with the product and super impressed with this company / I can’t say enough about the customer service-unmatched!!

This is the second pump the first one did not work, called Poposoap and they sent me another one. Second one works great even in shady or cloudy conditions. I would give a five star but my experience with costumer service was rather frustrating, I couldn't understand the representative on two tries due to heavy accents and sound was like they were speaking in a barrow. The third rep was great very helpful and polite.Pump needs direct sun for a couple days to fully charge batteries.

This solar pump does not have any power for a good flow. The bees like it, that tells you the flow is a dribble. As my pics show, the solar panel is in direct sun and there is only a dribble. I called Customer Service, he was nice and apologetic, he asked me to disconnect the solar panel from the pump for a few seconds and try again. I did. No change. My one star is because it does not work as stated on the ad. Also, there is no on or off switch with this product.

I bought this pump for our outdoor fountain May 24, 2024. The pump quit on me Sept 15, 2024. The strength was perfect. We had it go through our 13 inch elephant and the spray would spray 12-16 inches through the spout. The battery backup also had it still going on cloudy afternoons. I'm trying to contact seller to buy another pump. I'm not sure if 4 months is the life span. I had the pump in a mesh bag. The filter was clean. There is not a way to replace the battery.

Nice solar pump while the sun is shining, but the battery is useless. Once the light quits shining on the panel the pump stops. I paid extra for the version with a backup battery, hoping the pump would still work after dark.So if you are buying this for the backup battery, don't save some money and buy the version without this option, because this option does not work.

This pump works fine as long as in direct sun.I thought with the battery it would work on cloudy days and at dusk.Disappointed so probably won't buy again.

This is my second solar fountain pump as the first one quit after about 2 1/2 years. This one is a little smaller but works mightily. I love the back up battery as it keeps the fountain running during cloudy periods. Please note that it does not work at night. It doesn't matter, I'm not looking at the fountain at night, anyway. And it shuts off if the water level gets too low. Anyone who has a fountain knows that with regular use the fountain reservoir can get very low as wind will blow the cascading water away a little at a time. I normally fill it again when I water my flowers daily. But the shut off feature is great to have. Note...when I go on vacation I normally disconnect the power cord from the solar panel until I return. And the solar panel is much smaller than my old pump, a much more unobtrusive look in my garden. This was a good purchase at a great price.
