Gave this to my nephew for his 9th birthday, and it was a hit. The extended family was together for the weekend, and he had it in his hands constantly after opening it. Seriously, he had it in hand until he went to bed and was sitting with it on the couch the next morning, still in pj's and waiting for his cousins to roll out of bed so they could play again. I was very disappointed at being sent the green and white version after specifically choosing the wood-brown style, but he was unphased. My soon-to-be-12-yr-old was vicariously excited about it, and the two of them assembled it and learned how to use it without any problems--my son had watched the product video with me when we were shopping, but that and whatever printed instructions may have been in the box were all they apparently needed. The cousins all had a big foam-blaster war that lasted for hours, and they didn't lose any of the pellets for this shotgun, even though the bird/buck shot is tiny. I imagine the 9-yr-old's vigilance in that department will wane with time though, so I hope there are replacement packs for those little darts. Still, even if he ends up using it only for the regularly sized darts, I can see him loving this for a long time. They just think the double-barrelled action is amazing, loved ejecting the shells ... so silly :D We will see how well it holds up, but based on what I saw over the weekend, it seems like it will be worth the money.

I bought this gun because I wanted a nerf shotgun. It comes with the stock not attached to the gun so you have to put it together, although it’s not hard to assemble just connect them and screw them together. It is of decent quality although the barrels can be a little loose. It has a blaze orange trigger, ejectors, and the tips of the barrels are also blaze orange which is very nice. You have to pump it up by opening and closing the barrels (with the black lever on the back) to give it some power and it performs very well, sending darts flying far and will hit hard. It’s very fun to play with and it was certainly worth my money.

This double barrel foam dart gun for kids with ejecting shells is a break down model. You need to pull the barrel all the way down until you hear a 'click', then the shells eject. This gun seems to be modelled after a double barrel trap (skeet shooting) gun.One pull on the trigger will fire one barrel, pull again to fire the second.It has sling mounts but came with no sling/strap. It has a convenient side saddle for holding extra ammo, placed under the adjustable, plastic sights that are modelled after a red dot reflex sighting system.This double barrel foam dart shotgun for kids is rated for ages 8 and above with reason. The length of this gun measures about 38 inches long from butt to end of barrel and length of pull is about 13 inches, which is simply too much for smaller children.However, our teenagers absolutely love it.

I ordered this Toy Gun Double Barrel Shotgun from the Satlwe Store for my son bc he loves to play with any type of shooting gun I can find. My son had so much fun playing with this gun for hours. He got about 5 20oz soda bottles and lined them up and shot them down and he made a target sign and was shooting at it as well. This gun was a great buy for my son. It seems to be made well and is very sturdy. It seems as though if my son takes care of this gun, it will be around for a while. We do recommend this gun for other children.

It's cool it's, well made it comes with shells and ammo. But it's very weak. It barely shoots 15 ft. The shell ejection is horrible why would I want to have the thing I need to shoot darts launch in the air farther than it can shoot. The idea is cool but it just doesn't work.

The nephews love it. For that matter, the nieces do too. They have a lot of fun with it. It works as it should, and the foam pieces eject as they should. The toy is made of plastic and feels like it is made cheaply. Some of the mechanics seem to struggle to do what they are intended to do. Some of the projectiles do not stick to smooth surfaces like they should. Overall, I think any kid is going to love it, It is just a matter of how long it will hold up to regular play.

My husband and kids are big "Nerf" gun fans- so thought we would try this out. They were impressed with the size and feel of the gun- it has some substantial weight to it. The directions were easy to follow to put together. Three different kinds of ammo- regular, suction cup and "Exploding" ones. Was able to shoot at least 30 feet- it packed a good punch! It got 2 thumbs up and 5 stars from them.The box it comes in shows a strap that holds ammo- it does not include that. I didn't deduct a star for that- because it is not listed in the descriptions- but it would have been nice- since there is only a clip that holds four bullets.

The media could not be loaded. This is such a great little toy for the grown up kids. The tactile response of breaking it open and ejecting shells is so rewarding. It's also a nerf style foam launcher and it works great in that way. It's got a set of soft tips and suction tips so you can swap between them. It's also got some backup darts of each style so when you inevitably lose them you won't be in trouble for a while. The multi-shot triple dart shells are super fun but they seem like they wont last long. You don't get nearly as many backup pieces of foam for them and they seem like they'll be lost the fastest since they're so very tiny. You cock the dart launcher at the same time as you open it, and the stock is weighted so it balances over the trigger which makes it feel really good. It comes with a little rail attachment to hold four shells and also has a rail of its own so you can add the 'red dot sight'. Sadly the red dot sight is the worst part of this thing as it doesn't actually work. It's just a piece of acrylic with a green led. The other downside is the sling with bandoleer on the packaging, which it does not come with. I got a shell holder for the stock which works great to hold the 8 extra shells.Amazing toy!
