Inexpensive rugged smartphone
This item was a present for my wife. A she is a dog walker and dog trainer, so she is out in all kinds of weather and she wanted a phone which could stand up to all sort of temperatures, conditions, dust and would survive a drop or an unexpected "fling" when handling the her clients pets. My wife isn't a gear freak, and isn't bother about owning the latest and great iPhone or Samsung that might be in fashion, so the Ulefone Armor X12 Pro appeared to tick all the boxes. Plus, the X12 isn't too expensive, so it fitted in nicely with her Northern sensibilities, even with the additional protective case/back clip/carabiner package: when the back clip is fitted, it also doubles as a handy stand when rotated. Time will tell whether we will run into any useability, software or hardware issues.
