Good camera!
Huge improvement over the blink 1! It has a great wide view and I can check the camera from my phone almost instantly, even internationally. This has been a great way to check on things even when I’m not home. Really good camera quality and the night vision works too. You don’t even need to pay the subscription if you don’t care about recording. Super simple set up.

Good features for the price
Nice little camera. It gives me a wide angle view of the area being monitored. I appreciate the 30 day trial of their subscription service to figure out how things work. For the price, you get good video quality, speaker and mic to listen and talk, night vision, and a light that you can turn on when needed.

Excellent Budget-Friendly Camera With Clear Video and Fast Setup
The Blink Mini 2 has been an impressive upgrade for a compact home security and pet monitoring camera. Setup was extremely quick, and the app walks you through everything step by step. The video quality is crisp during both day and night, and the motion detection is responsive without being overly sensitive. Audio is clear on both ends, which makes it useful for checking in on pets or communicating through the camera when needed. The compact size makes it easy to place almost anywhere without drawing attention. For the price, the performance, reliability, and ease of use are excellent, making this a great choice for simple home monitoring.

Good quality easy to use
First time trying any camera system. These were easy to set up. Clear view image and has different settings you can adjust. Only thing i dont like is it does not do constant recoding it only records on motion and it send a notification to your phone every time it is triggered by motion. You can silence the notification for up to 24 hours then you have to go back and turn the silence notification back on after the 24 hours if you don’t want the notification to keep popping up on your phones you can also choose to arm or disarm the system arm from app on the phone. I would buy these again. We have since added wireless outdoor ones from blink system and they seem to work well so far they run on 2 AA lithium batteries and sync easily with the wires indoor cameras we already had set up in the app.

Great camera for the money.
I got this camera to look into the downstairs of my house from upstairs or when I was away from the house. I installed it where I thought I would have the best view of the most rooms from one spot and wow was I impressed. It picks up my entire kitchen, my breakfast area and my family room and even part of my dining room from one well placed location. The video is actually pretty high-quality considering the wide angle fixed lens. The night time or dark room quality is OK, but noticeably limited in field of view as the illumination is very weak. My only wish would be for a longer power cord to allow for more mounting options. The full trial service includes recorded video and other nice features that you will have to sign up for and pay for to continue to use. The camera still works after the trial period and you can still look in from your phone from the app from anywhere, you just won’t have recorded video. Setup was easy and the mounting hardware was included.

Perfect little cameras that connect easily.
These are great little cameras. Easily connected to my other cameras and internet. They are easily adjusted and pick up movement. They are very high resolution and provide a great image. Like the clarity of the night vision mode as well. They do have a ight that can be turned on at night to provide a color night vision instead of infrared that I didn’t care for. It was a bright distracting light. It was easily turned off and I feel the night vision images are just fine without it.

Worked really good, connectivity was in point, quality of video/ pictures were good. Audio was a little spotty here and there. Night vision was good too! Used this to keep an eye on my pup

Solid budget cams with color night view; subscription ups the best features
Purchase context: Bought the 2‑pack (White) to monitor an entryway and a living area, with occasional use as a doorbell chime. Wanted simple setup, reliable motion alerts, and color night view without spending a lot. Unboxing/setup: Two plug‑in Mini 2 cameras, stands/mounts, USB cables, and power adapters. App-guided setup took about 5 minutes per camera. Mounts are small and easy to aim; cable length is fine for typical outlets. Specs verified: Resolution: 1080p HD Night view: Color when the built‑in spotlight is on; IR black‑and‑white otherwise Field of view: Wider than the previous Mini (noticeably covers more of the room) Audio: Two‑way talk; mic picks up normal conversation distance Alerts: Motion detection; person alerts require subscription Power/use: Plug‑in only; outdoor use needs the Blink Weather‑Resistant Power Adapter (sold separately) Storage: Cloud with subscription (30‑day trial), or local with Sync Module 2 + USB or Sync Module XR + microSD (sold separately) Integrations: Works with Alexa (arm/disarm, live view, doorbell chime) Performance & testing: Video: Daytime image is clear enough to recognize faces and read large labels across a room. Color night view with the spotlight is a real upgrade for identifying clothing colors/objects in low light; without the spotlight, IR is usable but less detailed. Motion alerts: Reliable for general movement; activity zones help cut down on false alerts. Person detection is better, but it’s locked behind the subscription. Audio: Two‑way talk is clear for quick “package drop” chats; there’s the usual slight lag typical of cloud cams, but it’s workable. App: Simple, stable, and quick to review motion clips. Continuous live view up to 90 minutes requires the subscription; otherwise sessions time out sooner. Comparisons: Versus pricier Ring/Google indoor cams, Mini 2 is more affordable but depends more on add‑ons (subscription for advanced alerts/longer live view; extra hardware for local storage and outdoor use). Compared to the original Blink Mini, the Mini 2’s color night view and wider FOV are noticeable improvements. Durability/maintenance: No issues after weeks of daily use. Being plug‑in, there’s no battery to maintain. For outdoor placement you’ll need the weather‑resistant adapter and a sheltered mount point. Who it’s for: Budget‑minded users who want simple, reliable indoor monitoring with decent 1080p and color night view Alexa households that want voice control or a plug‑in doorbell chime Who should skip: Users who don’t want subscriptions but need person alerts and extended live view Those wanting true outdoor cams without buying extra adapters, or higher‑bitrate/2K+ video Tips to get the best results: Place the camera slightly off‑axis from windows/lights to reduce glare; use the built‑in spotlight sparingly at night to get color without overexposing close objects Set activity zones and sensitivity early to cut false alerts from TVs/ceiling fans If you’re subscription‑averse, plan on buying a Sync Module 2/XR and USB/microSD for local backups Pros: Affordable 1080p with a wider FOV and effective color night view via spotlight Quick, straightforward setup; stable app Useful Alexa integration; can act as a doorbell chime Option for local storage (with Sync Module) if you don’t want cloud Cons: Best features (person alerts, 90‑min live view) require a subscription Plug‑in only; outdoor use needs a separate weather‑resistant power adapter Audio/video quality is good for the price but not class‑leading Bottom line: A dependable, budget‑friendly indoor cam with meaningful upgrades (color night view, wider view). It “does the job” well, but you’ll get the most out of it with the subscription or a Sync Module for local storage.
