I am amazed at this. My pond had so much algea. I couldn't see the fish. I cleaned the pump about every 4 days for the first 2 weeks. Each time it was filled with green slime/algea. It is working great and I can see to the bottom. I didnt find the instructions easy at all. Other than that the product is working great. Included before and after pics

The media could not be loaded. This little kit is amazing! Was worried my little backyard pond wouldn't survive the winter. Completely frozen over, except where the little waterfall kept it moving, but the pump never stopped. Come Spring and it's still working great. Easy to clean, and definitely reliable.

Quality is amazing, worth every dime , my water is so clear it’s holding up well. Multiple different heads I like the mushroom one the best.

This pump works so much better and more efficiently than the last two I had! My pond is so clear I can see the bottom. It’s a small pond but again I’ve tried two other pumps and they just did not clear the algae. This motor has the power and it’s been a few months now still going strong! I clean it once every two weeks:) just a spray down on the filters.

Although it is more than adequate for my small pond, you need to buy more bio-media balls so the filter sponges will be supported properly. Also the pump needs to be wrapped in a filter sponge as solid waste gets down into the impeller and impedes the performance. Alternatively, replace the large bio-media balls with small "macaroni" shaped media and bury the pump. When working properly, this filter is effective. It is too big for a forty gallon trough pond. I had to put small flower pot over the fountainhead to keep the water within the pond. If I had attached tubing to the pump outlet it would have created an overly strong current for the fish and plants.

Works great, bought to use inside for winter for my small koi that are in stock tank pond outside during summer. I have the same set up outside but with solar power as I have no plug in out in my garden.

I looked EVERYWHERE for a pop-up pool filter that could handle ducks…and duck messes! I have a petsmart dog pool that I set up when our brook is running low, and this fit perfectly in the middle! I didn’t use any of the accessories it came with, so my ducks wouldn’t be scared, so the water just burbles up gently. It’s super easy to clean, easy to set up, and VERY effective! I use this in tandem with pool shock to really keep the pool crystal clear. If it works for ducks I can only assume it’ll work for everything else! Highly recommended!

We have a tiny pond, and while the filter is amazing and works really well, it almost works too well! It's been pushing our water outside of the pond. We keep waking up to our pond being nearly empty because of that. We took the fountain off and let it just bubble around, which is working out great for us. Filter works really well for keeping it clean. We've had it only 2 months.
