This was on my Wish List, but when I opened it I was nervous. It looked smaller than I had anticipated, like it wouldn't fit all my stuff PLUS my Kindle. Still, since it was a gift from my son, I "moved" into it. The purse is more spacious than it looks. All of my stuff fits in it, including my Kindle. I'm a little nervous about the quality of the stitching, but I'll update this review if it fails. My plan, since it's fabric, is to Scotchguard the purse so snow/rain fall right off it.The coffee color is nice, although my daughter says it looks like a man purse. I like the way it sits on my shoulder and the pocket facing my body is perfect for ID, etc. I'm really hoping it's a keeper.

This is a great casual bag. It holds all I need for trips around town. I like that it has an inside pocket in the large interior. The main pocket is large enough to hold my sunglasses in their case. The small front pocket is perfect for my phone. The small back pocket works great for my lipsticks with easy access. My only concern is that there was a small amount of fraying where the zipper was installed on the back pocket. I put some Fray Check on it so I hope it doesn't come undone. Otherwise, it is perfect!

Update: 2/21/2019Now that I have used it for a while, I've come to depend on it. Just checked to buy another one and it is not available. Just like my previous bag. Wonder why things that are deemed good by many are no longer available. I upgrade to 5 stars.>>>I was looking for a spare bag of this style to reduce the wear and tear on my original one in a different brand purchased a couple of years ago that had become my EDC, and which everyone loved, and wanted to get one. It was robust. But the brand it was sold under does not sell if anymore, in spite of many good reviews--big disappointment. However, it seems like this style of bag has proliferated, sold under different brands--seemingly by same manufacturer, or only a few manufacturers--it is hard to decide which brand to buy.This brand does not compare with my original--this one is a bit larger, but it is thinner in every way, the strap, the zipper pulls, the cloth material, and lighter clasp and zippers. The strap is less than half as thick as my original, but thankfully, it is as long--another brand had a shorter strap. I kept it, but I wonder how long it will last.Too bad the original brand does not sell it anymore, but I guess even if they did, they would degrade the product, as it seems to always happens with a winning product.

Great bag! I asked for this for my birthday so I could use it for an upcoming and busy vacation. I use a mini backpack for a purse now and wanted to swap it out and look a little more polished. I figured the sling is great because it goes across my body and stays there versus having a shoulder strap purse and have the strap fall off your shoulder frequently. Now I can be hands free and organized for our trip. The bag itself is a nice heavy canvas and the zippers and clasps appear to be solid. I will use this for a few months and they try to remember to post back with an update. As of now - 5 stars for a great little bag!

I bought this bag for a trip to Barcelona (where people scare the hell out of you about pickpockets), as it is an across body bag that crosses in front of the body instead of in back. I found it very functional and lightweight. If I was traveling alone, it would not be big enough. My husband carried a knapsack that was able to hold an extra jacket, water, umbrella, etc. This bag was able to hold my essentials: wallet, lipsticks, camera (SLR size, not pocket), scarf, etc. There is only one inside pocket, that is not zippered. There are 3 zippered compartments: a small pocket on the back of the bag that lies close to the body, a front pocket that holds lipsticks, gum, etc and the zipper to the main part of the bag. One design flaw for me was that there is no snap or zipper for the compartment that lies between the small front pocket and the main compartment (see photo). So that compartment became a spot for pen/paper/tissues or the like; things that you wouldn't mind losing if they fell out. I may just try and sew in a snap myself. Other than that, I really liked this bag. (And I never felt safer than in Barcelona!)

This is a nice looking little bag and the price was nice too. So far, it's held up well and it seems sturdily made. No shredding seams, thank goodness, I hate that. I haven't carried a purse for years, I much prefer backpacks. They are much more functional than a purse and I hate how manufacturers seem to think that women are dumb and vain enough to pay outrageous amounts just so they can carry their stuff around in style. Backpacks are on the large side though, this is much easier to carry around now that I've gotten used to not carrying my whole house around with me.The only thing I would change is I'd put a zipper on each side of the large section so I could partially zip it up on each side, like what the bigger backpacks have. The opening is kind of low and things fall out if I'm not careful and I have to make sure it's zipped up really well when I carry it around. Because of this I might have given it a 4 star, but the price makes it well worth a 5 star.

This bag is wonderfully spacious yet small enough to be easy to carry; it's so close to 5 stars. The reason I give 4 stars is because the clip near the top comes apart every time I go to put on this bag. One tarnish-free book cover was sabotaged by this bag's loose clip, so I've learned to not carry anything in the front clip pocket. There's enough room inside the bag to fit all my things, but it's hard not to be annoyed when you're going to sling this bag on your back and hear the clip come undone every single time. It makes the bag more awkward to carry without the clip secured.
