I put this together by myself. The instructions are not the best. The quality is sub par. The top wood pieces are warped at all 4 corners. I expected much better quality for the money.

However, the quality doesn't quite meet high standards, feeling somewhat less robust than expected. The assembly process was particularly challenging, requiring significant effort and time, which might be a deterrent for some. Despite these drawbacks, it serves its purpose well by providing a convenient and space-saving bed option for guests. Overall, it's a decent choice if you need a functional guest bed and can manage the tricky assembly.

I like the frame fine but it had so many parts to put together. I would only recommend if you have a couple of days with nothing to do and a lot of patiences.

We got it to be an attractive spare bed and selected a 6-inch foam mattress. Getting it back into the frame takes two people and a lot of hard physical effort. Go with a 5-inch thick mattress. The instructions are hard to follow. I put it together wrong due to the tiny diagrams and sparse directions. The lower drawer pull-out fits in sloppily and I had to bolster the top so it doesn't wobble. Would not buy again.

It’s an attractive though not as sturdy as you would hope piece. It creaks every time you move and feels like it’s splintering beneath you. Then you put it back and see that it did in fact splinter beneath you. We haven’t even used it yet, just put it out twice for testing and both times it cracked a bit.
