TONS OF FUN !!
I've been a collector of toy steam engines for over 35 years. I really did not know much about engines that run on air, nor did I care. But I decided to try one out of curiosity. WOW !! What an engine. It literally runs at warp speed. Just give it some denatured alcohol and a light lubrication and it will run like blazes after only 30 seconds of heating up. Two cautions though: avoid using rubbing alcohol because of its impurities, and hold on to it because it will want to fly off the table if you leave it to its own devices ! Hope you have as much fun as I have. I am planning to buy a different model next month. This item shows high quality workmanship and is worth the financial outlay. Please note that this model has nothing to do with electricity of the generation of such. That's an error in the description and really pertains to other models from this manufacturer.

Awesome little engine that can! We love it!
I can't say enough about this little engine! I have a 7 and 9 year old. My father stops by too and we all love to watch this engine run! Oh! I had read reviews that said how terrible it was to get the wick in the burner cap. Simply loop a twist tie and use it to pull the wick through, simple and fast.Out of the box the engine ran fine with a fairly large flame but noticed a squeak. The instructions that came with it explained how to oil the pivot points and now I have the wick pulled back to small flame that barley touches the glass and the engine runs quiet and smooth! Personally It's memorizing. I would certainly recommend this to anyone that likes mechanical things.

PLEASE READ MY REVIEW!!!!!!
I bought this little engine on July 29 2014 I picked standard shipping and it arrived to my door about 2:30 in the evening on August 6 2014 in two boxes It was packed pretty well I got it out nothing was broken it came with two cylinder glasses and the cold air piston sleep in a bubble wrap and some tools to take it apart if needed it's about five inches in length 3 inches in width in my opinion it is a very nice piece and fun to run I run it on 91% rubbing alcohol and it doesn't leave any oily grease on the glass tube I was very happy with it I run it almost every day I would definitely recommend to a friend your not wasting your money the only thing I did was oil the bearing cause they had a slite squeak but by oiling them that fixed it definitely earned 5 out of 5 ratings

Glass tube replacement is IMPOSSIBLE....
Would rate 5 stars, but for various reasons I only gave it 2. The instructions manuel was written by poor english and did not understand half of what it said. I also tried to replace the glass tube after multiple test runs before putting it on for show and have attempted for hours upon hours trying to figure out how to put in the replacement tube. This truly is a well built engine, and certainly must have had special tools to put it together. It ran better than any other stirling engine I've had for sure. However, I would NOT recommend this to anyone who has a thriving passion for these little engines and would like to run it enough to where it needs tube repairs done at any point of its lifetime. I still have not been able to figure out how to get it put back together without breaking anything. How they even got that tight of a fit for the O-ring and the glass tube in, is beyond me. If anybody knows how to successfully repair them without breaking anything, please contact me and kindly instruct me on what to do. Thanks!

Even more impressive than the reviews, lol.
This thing is awesome! Impresses all that inquire about what it does, and nobody expects the rpm's this thing puts out. I bought this for what I call "Man Candy" which basically means the stuff we dont need, but have to have. I will be purchasing others from this seller (non-bias review), just happy with the product/shipping/service. If you're thinking about buying it, do so. Runs perfectly clean on denatured alcohol (no carbon or black smoke like a candle could produce so the glass stays crystal clear after each use). Expect to refill the vial where the alcohol goes up in every use as it evaporates quickly if let sitting, but hey, a gallon of denatured runs about $15.00. Anyways, cheers!

Fantastic little knick knack!
This little sterling engine is just about the cutest thing ever. Sunny tech did a good job making this model - it ran right out of the box.Two negative things to say about it though: it arrived way after it was supposed to (closer to a week after). That's with the prime 2 day shipping. Amazon kind of let me down with that one... why am I paying more for Prime?Secondly, the shaft the flywheels are mounted on is undersized for the bearings it resides within: there's a good deal of vibration when it's running. That, and the flywheels won't run perfectly true (wobble). It's not enough for me to return the unit, as I enjoy it as is, but for the money the machining could be a little better. All in all, a great little toy to have around. The three stars are for the shipping - I was really disappointed in that aspect.

Sunnytech and Amazon were great to deal with and tried their best to fix ...
I ordered two of these little engines. When one of them arrived the glass bottle that holds the fuel was broken. Contacted Sunnytech they were very helpful and offered to send a new part however that was going to take 12 - 15 days to ship it from China. So I contacted Amazon they emailed a return label and I shipped it back for a refund. Sunnytech and Amazon were great to deal with and tried their best to fix the problem with the broken part. These are really well built engines, fun to watch them run and cool to have setting on your desk.

Runs smoothly and plenty heavy
Excellent gift. My stores offered 91% or 99% alcohol. I bought 91% it works alright just burns yellow. The engine ran perfectly out of the box

A well made engine - great gift.
I bought this for my dad. The images on Amazon gave the impression this was a well-engineered engine, which indeed it was. It arrived much earlier than expected. There were no breakages, and spares were included. It looks good, and worked well first time. I bought it with a small book on Stirling engines and how to make them yourself, so dad could see a real one, read about it in a book, and maybe attempt to build his own if he wished. A great product, supported by solid service.

I bought it as a Christmas GIft
I bought this as a Christmas gift for a relative. I knew it would be perfect for him as he loves technology and engineering, regardless of period. It's a bit of an executive toy which is perfect for his current role and it sits on his desk. I didn't think is was expensive for what it was and was expecting it to look a little rough around the edges. However, I was proven wrong. This is a very nicely machined and constructed piece of machinery that belies its price. Because of the high production standards my relative is considering buying further variants of this item. Please consider when purchasing that a naked flame and liquid fuels are being used. This is not a childs toy.
