Bongo Rock

Wow, what can I say ? This cd is just the dogs ! Funky bongolicious vibes oozing from every track .... you just can't keep still with those beats !I knew I loved Apache from hearing it sampled by Sugarhill Gang and I was hoping the other tracks would be just as good. .. and I wasn't dissapointed. ... Buy it and get playing those imaginary bongos... you won't be able to resist....!

I brought this for the clean breaks. It is a good album. I'm no funk soul man to comment on arrangements but it's well packaged, met my needs, looks good plays loud.

very good solid performance for early 70s. funky rocky souly instrumental mostlycontains apache wich almost single handedly kick started the hip hop era.cool dj herc would use this funky breakbeat at his parties.who would have thought the shadows(apache was first made popular by the shadows and inspired this remake) would be responsible for the birth of hip hop & electro

A classic re issue on vinyl, if you love well recorded bongos over classic songs you will love it.Note the CD version has more tracks

Had some of this stuff on record a few years ago so thought i would grab a cd of it all while it was still about.

Again heard it on the Talksport's Two Mikes programme.So unusual. The bongo beat is quite uplifting. The interpretations of Appache and Can't get no satisfaction (R. Stones) terrific
