After opening the box it can be a bit overwhelming, there’s a lot of small pieces and I got a bit overwhelmed — but, if you go on YouTube and search “Govee neon lights” there’s a 30 second video that really simplified the process for me! I am autistic and struggle with written instructions, so it was a great visual. I got the largest size and it wraps around my desk perfectly. These lights are incredibly bright and have tons of different color combinations / themes. You can also customize them individually and pick the colors you’d like to see. My favorite feature is definitely the music sync, it can seem a little too sensitive at first but there is a sound sensitivity slider in the app! I have the music box right behind my Echo, and it responds well.For the entire part of squiggles I didn’t use any of the bending connectors. I used the shortest ones and just made sure to have them shaped in a way where curving would be natural for them. I didn’t have a shape planned and just went for it. The heart bit at the end was a bit more complicated but I ended up using the straight clips for that part as well. Also, the screws would likely come in handy but I am in an apartment! The curved ones just kept falling off the wall and I believe it was because of the tension. These lights are definitely something you’ll have to play with for a bit to get them exactly how you want them, but it is 100% worth it!They’re very durable and insanely nice in terms of quality. The best LED’s you could find IMO (in my opinion). They connect to the Govee Home app as well as my Echo Show. 100% would recommend, just have some patience and trust the process!These are super bright, so I’d recommend blackout curtains in front of your window to avoid giving everyone outside a light show as well, haha. Amazing lights!

I LOVE these Neon Ropes by Govee! They are so Amazing! The quality can’t be beat! There are so many lighting options, the brightness is Fantastic, and the customization is only limited by your imagination! These can be put in any design that you want them with the included clips (but you may need to purchase more clips for some designs to ensure that they stay adhered properly & in good design!) the installation is very straightforward & pretty easy! These lights are so amazing! Connectivity is great - Using 2.4GHz wifi &/or bluetooth & the Govee home app you can use the many preloaded scenes or customize your own creations there as well!You can’t go wrong with Govee devices- They will last forever, have the best customer service & have an amazing app!I LOVE GOVEE DEVICES so much! In just a year of using them I have now collected about 85ish of them from lights to GoveeLife Air Purifiers! You won’t regret this purchase or ANY Govee Purchase!

The media could not be loaded. Easy to install and looks beautiful. Comes with so many settings you can design your own lighting scape. We used ours on an L-shaped desk for the kids, the size covered the 16' perfectly. Because it is a rope light you have a fluid color versus seeing every individual LED. Very good quality.

I absolutely loved that rope light. I've had my eye on a similar white Ikea rope light that is no longer being made and then i found this. This is a smart light, with many colors, a very intuitive app with so many color design options, it's absolutely mind-blowing especially at this price. I bought this to put in a large glass jar to replace the rope lights I already use. The light can be very bright if you choose to or you can dim it. I bought a bunch of other Govee lights with this so I returned this rope because I thought the others worked better for what I needed it for but if I'd found use for it I would have totally kept it. If you have a game room, or a kid's room, this would be a fun addition to their wall. I already have wall mounted Nanoleaf so I had no use for those. The material was thick and flexible, could be mounted and maybe it had an adhesive back, I don't know because I never unrolled it and returned it in its original condition. Great product.

Used these in my game room and currently in my living room to add some cool ambient lighting. I have one of the newer ones and one of the older models and the colors and brightness are not the same between the two, so keep that in mind. They do look super cool and are good quality. As far as installation goes, they are easy to install, but the mounting hardware could be better for corners, almost need something that can be screwed into the wall, because the tape doesn't cut it on the corners because of the tension from the light. One issue I have, is I set the strips so the parts that go behind my shelves and stuff are turned off so you don't see any wires, but they eventually end up resetting and the entire strip is lit up again which means I have to go into the app and change both strips again... kind of a pain.

We used two 10-foot ropes on top of our kitchen cabinets, which have a 3-foot gap to the ceiling. We use this as a night light. They worked perfectly, and with the Goove app, we have complete control of the intensity and color. Each rope came with plenty of fasteners for holding the ropes in place.
