It provides 24-hour video surveillance in and around your home or small business and also allows remote access to your cameras and recorded video through your mobile phone from anywhere in the world at any time. The system is expandable and can support up to two additional cameras (TM-HD WC). The camera's PIR Sensor detects movement from heat signatures reducing false positives associated with software motion detection. This results in more accurate recordings of people rather than the tree moving in the wind! Using the WDVR APP on your iPhone or Android phone, no port forwarding or internet setup is required. Simply scan the QR code and watch on your phone. A microSD Card Slot (up to 32GB, not included) is used to backup recordings. Using 2.4GHz digital Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology for secure, dependable, and interference-free transmissions, the cameras are unaffected by competing wireless signals and provide a secure encrypted connection to the monitor so that no-one else can pick up the wireless signal. Recordings are made to an internal Hard Disk Drive (not included) and must be formatted to FAT32 on a PC before adding to the system (instructions included). Good day and night picture and strong wireless signal from the cameras through 3 brick walls to the wireless recorder. I tried another product and that only could manage wireless through 1 brick wall. Excellent price for what it does!
