STRICTLY BEDS&BUNKS - Cabin bed Short 2 ft 6 Small Single Midi-Sleeper with Sprung Mattress

My son has the box room, he’s just turned 6 and was In need a new bed, he’s a small boy really so just come out of the toddler bed. His room isn’t a big room so I was so worried about which bed would fit and not overtake his bedroom. When I discovered they did a midi bed but in a smaller size I was dleighted. I ordered and paid, had a wait a little while for delivery as the van wasn’t in my area but wow it was worth the wait my little boy is delighted with his new grown up bed as I am too. It makes his room look like a proper boys room now,Many thanks .

Although the bed frame is ok for the money the mattress is very poor quality. I contacted strictly beds concerning the mattress to be told it's an occasional mattress. This was not stated in their advert. They will not replace it unless I pay more money and they have the cheek to ask me to pay a further £30 for them to collect it. Please consider this when purchasing said item.

The bed is lovely and my son loved it. It was relatively easy to put together once i had a sturdier hex screw driver. The one provided was too soft and bent to the point it wouldn't turn the screws in. It put together much easier with a new hex set. Again, lovely sturdy bed

Lovely bed once up, as a single parent I had to put it together by myself, I do not recommend this, I just didn't have a choice. My daughter loves this bed, and fits great in such a small room, helpful having the space underneath for storage. And a great price.

Bought this bed for my daughter who has the box room. Excellent service and convenient delivery. Well made and easy to follow instructions. Would definitely recommend two people construct it. We have left it natural for now but may paint in the future.

The bed was delivered efficiently (within 48 hrs), was straightforward to assemble, and there were no missing parts in our pack (but the seller also has a missing parts website which sends out any missing parts free-of-charge). We wanted a small cabin bed for a small box room, and this has provided a great solution, and as the bed is at window level it enables the bed user to enjoy the view outside.

If you are used to assembling IKEA furniture the instructions will probably baffle you as they did me. However, its a simple design and two of us managed to assemble it in a couple of hours using common sense. The design is good, but cheap quality is evident in the finish- ours had small gaps where the fixings supplied weren't up to the job, so we had to buy longer screws to secure it properly. The mattress is also cheap, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind the slight lumpiness! It is an ideal size for our boxroom and we have drawers and a 'den' underneath it. Overall a good cheap solution for making the most of space, and a lot cheaper than most similar products.

This is a great bed. Delivered on time and put together with ease and we are not handymen. We used Danish oil on it which looks superb.
