It does work, just need to ask the right questions and apply it properly.
I just redid my side yard and had gravel put in around the walkway. The loose rocks drove me crazy so I purchased gravel glue - two 32 ounce bottles, along with the applicator. The first time, I screwed up the mix ratio and watered it down. The second bottle, followed the directions on the back and applied it correctly (I think) using their applicator, which I love!I Waited for it to cure and it held and it held well. I was happy. Then we were inundated with rain that lasted for three days. The glue held really well in the large sections of gravel, but not other sections - particularly between the pavers. It was as if I didn’t apply the glue at all. I didn’t understand what I did wrong as I had applied it evenly throughout. I knew that the application needed to be fixed/adjusted, and likely due drainage and moisture.I messaged the company with my questions. After sending them pictures, explaining the water to glue ratio I used, they recommended that, due to the heavy rain we’ve been getting, I try a 1:1 ratio, and apply 2-3 coats. I am going to do that when we are not expecting rain for a day or two. It’ll work - not concerned. Again, it held up in other sections, just not all.As for the glue - here’s a picture following my second application. I do like that it has a color to it when you apply it, but dries clear. The gravel against the house - large sections believe it or not - are the sections that held and the glue is still intact. With the exception of the gutters, there’s no overhang that gives that section shelter - so not sure why there it held, and not everywhere else. Again, I suspect drainage or moisture that may have existed before I applied, but that’s a guess.I would just make sure the area is completely dry, no rain expected for a couple of days, and if you live in an area that is experiencing a lot of rain, thicken the glue and apply 3 coats. Of course, you can always reach out to the company with any questions, and ask for guidance before you start the process. They are responsive and extremely helpful. Also, get their applicator! It’s easy to use and makes the application easier allowing you to evenly distribute it throughout sections. But I do want to give a shoutout to the Petra! I appreciated their responsiveness and their willingness to walk me through the steps, and come up with an alternative solution. A company that is willing to do that, without issue, is a good company to stand behind and support. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Works OK, not great
**Update**The company actually reached out to me and was able to provide me with more product in order to make sure I am completely satisfied with the product. I spoke with Anne in their customer service department and she was incredibly helpful. I highly recommend this company!I absolutely love the concept and some spots seem to be holding up great but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to truly hold the mulch good enough enough to even take two steps on. I have now applied over three coats and I can use the blower on very low to get the leaves out, but it seems to only hold together the top like half to 3/4 of an inch of mulch so if you step and the mulch gives at all it separates and causes the blower to catch and peel it back. Very disappointed it doesn’t work better for the price.

Rocks turn into a sticky mess
So I used this in multiple places. One is around paver's we walk on where sometimes people step on them. In this area I followed instructions and while spraying the sprayer constantly clogged. We are talking 10min total in time. The amount needed for even a small area is crazy but I started with a small area. After the first day they were hard to the touch and seemed to work. However on day 2 I tested a small spot and stepped on them. They were tacky and stick to the bottom of your shoes / feet and clusters of stones pulled up. I gave the rest another 2 days to dry and it’s a hotter day today. Just went out and it’s almost like the glue is softer and no longer hard. All they just pull up in sticky clusters. I now have an area where all the stones have a tacky sticking shiny finish and stick to everything. So instead of stones just being kicked and you happen to walk on them, now they stick to your feet and shoes and stay on the bottom which is worse. At this point we will probably have to rake up all the stones and replace them as it’s just a mess now.The other area I mentioned is just a flower bed so it doesn’t matter that they are sticky. But also I have no reason to use it there as no one moves those rocks so more of a pointless use case. This stuff is basically Elmer’s glue that doesn’t like heat.

Works great but costly
This mulch glue which I put down yesterday, appears to do the job. The one major drawback is the fact that it does not go a long way especially if you spray all of your mulch. I use 12 yards of mulch in my landscape so I only did around the edges and places where water washes away the mulch. I barely finished one coat for my front yard. Now need to order another to work on my backyard in the same manner. Doing 2 coats will take me broke.

Product works as described and leaves a great finish on the rocks.
I bought this product to keep little hands from picking up our landscape rocks and throwing them all over the yard. It does the trick. Two coats and everything is locked in place and little hands cannot move them! Bonus: it leaves the rocks with a shiny, wet look. Great product. I will be buying more to lock down everything in place!

Great product, rocks stay put.
I am so glad I found this. My front flower garden is so much easier to work with. I can just use the blower and blow away all the leaves and my rock stays put. I have rainbow rock in pinks, greens and blues and it gave them a beautiful shine.
