A highly versitile case great for using as a storage server.
The Darkrock Classico is an amazing case. I was not expecting much from a lessor known brand but I was pleasantly surprised by it's build quality. No sharp edges anywhere and the side panels come off with ease. I went with the Max version due to it being 1 inch larger in depth as I was concerened my Epyc CPU cooloer would have been to large for the regular version. I think I could have gotten away getting the smaller one but getting the Max gave me more peace of mind. The amount of storage this case holds is insane. I currently have six spinning rust HDD, two on the bottom, not seen from the front and four on top. I still have space for four more HDD and even two more SSD on the back. I'm using this case for my Proxmox server with a Supermicro H12SSL-i ATX motherboard. The case itself is not heavy which is great as adding all my components increase the overall weight a bit. Airflow and temps are reasonable with 3 120mm fans in the front and top of the case and a single 140mm in the back. Overal all I am quite happy with the case, it's size and it's overall functionality.

Holds so many drives, is dead silent and can fit a full size GPU!
An awesome case that is the cornerstone of my homelab. Great expandability for adding more hard drives and surprisingly quiet 120mm fans in the front that keep your drives nice and cool. If you’re looking to get into AI, a full size gpu fits great in this case with plenty of wiggle room for plugging in cables. Decent enough cable management in the back of the case, but overall, great for the beginner homelabber who doesn’t want to have a massive server rack taking up space and just wants a simple, functional case that can hold a lot of drives.

It's cheap but it works.
It's cheap so it wouldn't be fair to compare this to major brands. It has lot of room for storage which is great for a home NAS. The last case I was using was recycled and I had to throw the drives loose where I could. Checking prices for NAS purposed cases I was a bit surprised how much more they cost. The trade off is something that doesn't feel very strong but unless you plan to move it around a lot, kick it, punch, eat on it, or take it on dates then it should be fine. The most odd design choice I felt was the drive bays. I thought they would be something you can just slide your drives into but nope. The top half of each drive pays I think you can, but the bottom half you cannot without having to remove the four screws and pull it out and install them from the other end. Probably could have been solved with a Drimel but I just didn't want to clean up metal shavings that day. The back panel was a pain to get it since it's not really a latch and clamp. It basically needs to be slid in nearly flat which could be fun if you have enough cables there to push against it.But it's cheap, and for my purposes, worth the money when you compare it to other options out there that I saw.

Perfect Case for a Clean, Spacious, and Custom NAS Build!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I used this case to build my own NAS server, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. It’s sleek, spacious, and just looks so clean once everything is installed. The airflow is solid right out of the box, but I swapped out the front fans for a different style to better suit my setup—and the case handled it beautifully. There’s tons of room for drives, cables are easy to manage, and the overall build quality feels premium for the price. Honestly, this case made the whole process smoother and more enjoyable. I’m very impressed and would definitely buy it again for another project.Highly recommended if you’re building a NAS or just want something functional and good-looking.

IMO great case for beginners and nas setups
Very spacious it has room for about 10 hdds and a full size atx motherboard. Plenty of room for cables. However some of the cable pass throughs are fairly sharp, just be careful. All metal except the front cover which can be removed(don’t recommend). The case is a tad heavy however it’s very strong. Although it has no windows/ glass the front panel is a kind of grate so you can still show off your internals as well as amazing airflow. The case came pre assembled as well as already installed atx motherboard standoffs. All drive bays are removable.

Spend a little more and get something better.
This case is a pretty mixed bag. On one hand it is probably the cheapest case that can fit this many hard drives, so it's a decent option for a cheap/starter NAS, but you'll probably end up wishing you had spent a bit extra and got something with much better quality control and design. You'll most likely want to upgrade after trying this case anyways so save the money and get something higher quality.Pros:- Captive screws on the panels which is nice for this price point.- Includes four fans- Includes magnetic dust filter on top and bottomCons:- Very flimsy case. The metal was constantly bending and the plastic front will snap if you look at it wrong- The layout is poorly thought out. Even with right angle sata/power connectors there really isn't enoughroom to fit cabling for all the hard drives, which is the entire purpose of the case. (I'd recommend flippingthem around so the cables come out the front)- My case shipped with the wrong motherboard offsets, so the provided mounting screws didn't fit.- You have to snap off the pci covers as they are tabbed into the case.

Perfect for NAS, no major ca ling issues
Roomy ATX case, sturdy, nicelly put together and painted. The package includes the accessories tou need (screws, tieups, some right angled sata cables) and if you onstall the HDDs with the connectors facing the front opening (which is also preferrable for a NAS or filecserver setup), you will have no issues as reported by other customers. Some of the HDD enclosure holes do not align eell but this is not a significant issue. Some 5" HDD trays can't be easily screwd back easily w/ the HDD mounted but there are workarounds.2xUSB2.0 and 1 USB3.0, power and reset buttons on top.Overal, great ATX case for the price, looks like the classic, industrial-grade server enclosures, no cheesy glss aand plastic ornaments.
