I’ve been using the Core 500 Digital Stethoscope for a little while now, and it has definitely exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is incredibly clear—far better than my traditional stethoscope. Being able to amplify heart and lung sounds makes assessments faster and more accurate, especially in noisy environments. Absolutely love this stethoscope. I cannot recommend it any higher! I’ve been in the medical field for 25+ years, and I’ve always had difficulty hearing with a stethoscope to discern the various lung sounds and heart murmurs. This stethoscope muffles out any environmental noise and allows me to hear with such precision, that I can hear the tiniest, faint crackle or wheeze. Every coworker that’s expressed interest in it, I’ve handed it to them told them to go use it on a patient, and they come back in awe. It is well worth the price, in buying it through Amazon you can do longer payment plans if it’s not in the budget as a solid payment. I highly recommend it. I rarely use the Eko app, but the ability to record the EKG tracing in real time is amazing.

Bought this as a gift for graduating with my APRN. Looks very professional. I always struggled with being able to hear clearly with stethoscopes, love that I can turn up the sound and really hear and identify sounds clearly. I can easily hear murmurs I could never identify with my Littman. Love that you can toggle inbetween lung, heart or both. I use wide mostly unless I need a more clear sound from a specific area. Haven’t played must with the EKG features. Would buy again. Worth the prices. Well made. Lasts about a week consistent use before needing charging. Fast charges.

This stethoscope is amazing. The sound quality and clarity on the cardiac and wide modes are phenomenal. I don't love the pulmonary mode though because it picks up too much extra noise caused by the stethoscope rubbing up against the skin as the patient is taking big deep breaths. I've also used the app which is pretty cool. Being able to record the exam, as well as have it play on speakerphone in real time to let the patient near too, is something else. The chestpiece has a button at the top that allows you to instantly record the exam, which is saved into the app. One thing I wish they could do is to allow multiple back to back recordings. Currently, after each recording, you have to go into the app and fill in all the details (e.g., position, location) and save before being able to make another recording. The chestpiece battery duration is impressive. I noticed that when not in use, it turns off automatically to save battery. It also disconnects from bluetooth on the phone when this happens. However, once I woke up the chest piece by pressing the top button, it reconnected to my phone's bluetooth with barely any delay. It also did not have to reboot every time the chest piece was woken up. It's these little time savers that make a big difference because having to take extra steps collectively becomes time consuming. I bought the case from Eko separately. It holds the stethoscope very well. it's pretty big though. But it's a good size to fit my stethoscope as well as my otoscope. I could probably fit my blood pressure cuff in there if I wanted to. Overall great product. Patients found it interesting as well.

Amazing Stethoscope. I have not been able to hear Blood Pressures or Lung Sounds with other amplified stethoscopes but can hear them well with this stethoscope. As an EMT in noisy environments this has resolved my problem. Worth every $$$.

This tool has made my transition from nursing student to RN much more fruitful. It is an incredible tool to use that really enabled me to hear clearly as I went from a novice student to RN. It appears to be extremely well made and durable. I highly recommend this steth for those struggling to identify lung sounds / heart sounds.

Amazing piece of technology, but it only fits for specific types of medical professionals. According to my wife, it doesn't fit well in a clinic or out-patient type of care. This is great for EMT, EMS, ER, ICU, Cardiac, etc...

This device has surpassed my expectations. I work in advanced practice as a nurse and deal with a largely frail population with multiple health problems and busy environments. Being able to amplify the sound, change settings and record 3 leads has been quite something. Great sound, a really quality item with ease of use and the functionality being able to be changed as needed. Colour being plain black is a bit bland but sleek and professional. Quite a costly item but was able to use vouchers which made a huge difference to the purchase price.

Excelente funcionamiento. Muy práctico y versátil

I read about the CORE 500 and having used an electronic stethoscope for over 20 years, I was keen to try it. It is quite simply the best stethoscope I have ever owned. The sound is crystal clear and is wonderful for detecting murmurs, chest sounds, bruits, etc. The heart rate and ECG is a bonus. I don't subscribe to EKO Plus for AI interpretation as it's too expensive and I am happy to trust my many years of experience, but I can well imagine it being useful to doctors at an earlier stage in their career.
