I've tried two different types of golf practice nets from Kaidida recently. I've tried this one (7x7ft version) and also a 10x6.5ft one with a different design which was also 6ft deep compared to this one which only comes in around 3ft deep. Both different variants have pro and cons but this one is better suited (a bit obviously) for those with a smaller space to accommodate one of these types of nets whereas the other one is more likely suited (if you have enough space) to stand alone without being pegged in (e.g. if you are lucky enough to have enough space to use one of these indoors). Anyway, on to this one. First impression - very easy to set up. The quality of this one is also good - the only slight let down on quality is the target material as that is going to take a lot of repeated impact (if you're accurate enough) and feels like it will be the first thing to deteriorate out of the whole set. Overall though it's very good quality at the price. Once pegged in this net will take a fair whack - far more than I can manage and so it's great for me. The only other negative I can point out is that at ~7ft wide and having to stand back around 4ft to get enough swing room in there will be the odd occasion where you scuff a shot and it goes wide of this net. It comes in wider variants but it is something to consider for the complete amateur (who may have more scuffed/wild shots) but even a pro has the odd wild scuff that would miss this net. I'm using mine against a hedge so even if I get a wild shot it will do no harm to any window or person but it is something to bear in mind with this set. The wider variants of this set are obviously more expensive but will certainly give you more peace of mind using it and it may depend on your golf level a bit on which set is best for you and also depend on how seriously you'll be using it. Another thing is that you may want a golf mat of some sort while you are at it to save your lawn (or whatever other surface you're playing your shots off) as although it's quick to move the net around by just moving round a few pegs, repeated shots in the same area are going to quickly show up. All in all it's a great set - just choose your size variant wisely. 5 stars from me.

For those new to golf and for those playing off scratch – this is a brilliant piece of equipment for practising at home. Until now I have had to either go to the driving range at golf club or go on nearby sports field to practise my wing. Driving range costs money in fuel to get there and back and for the token for the balls. Going to nearby sports field does not cost money since I walk there but it does mean I hit a few balls in a direction and then have to walk to go retrieve (find!) them. With this net you can hit golf balls with every club from pitching iron to a driver and the ball hits the net and rolls back on the ground – perfect! It comes boxed with everything fitting in the transportable bag (per photos with this review). It is easy to assemble taking no more than 5 minutes once know how it goes together. Would suggest using the ground pegs to keep the net and frame stable.

What a great golf setup to have in a back yard. I've got this setup at work which will be a go to at lunchtimes to get away from it all and get those practice shots in. Setting up was quite easy, but a little time consuming. Once it's all setup, it's quite sturdy and doesn't tip over. The net is quite well made and has plenty of manoeuvrability. You will need plenty of space so please check this before you jump in.
