Ys X: Nordics: Deluxe Edition - Nintendo Switch

50 hours gone in the blink of an eye, and every moment was an absolute joy. I normally skip a lot of dialogue and side quests but did them all. Ys X: Nordics is easily one of the most enjoyable action RPGs I've ever played, up there with Ys VIII. The atmosphere is great. The music? Phenomenal—Falcom once again delivers a soundtrack that sticks with you long after you've stopped playing. The character development is deep and engaging with a wide variety of NPCs that always have new and relevant things to say, making you genuinely care about the journey and the people you meet along the way. They put a lot of effort into this one. Solid story with some twists too. Exploration is a highlight, with expansive areas to uncover on land and sea. It was also fun finding/rescuing people that add various functions to the ship like merchants selling various goods. Ship battles were surprisingly fun but not that deep. The combat system is as smooth and satisfying as ever, with mechanics that feel refined and exciting. If you're a fan of the Ys series or RPGs in general, Ys X: Nordics is a must-play. It's a perfect blend of everything that makes the genre great.

One of the best entries in the series so far, excellent story and combat system, I thought the series hit its peak with Lacrimosa of Dana. Can’t wait to see how they top this one.

Very good rpg from an underrated franchise. Great story, combat, exploration and fun. This game brings it all. If this is your first entry into Ys that is okay due to Adol's adventures being an anthology of sorts so newcomers are welcome. The sea faring is top notch and adds to the overall game mechanics. 10/10 must buy for any rpg fans.

The best Ys yet! Fantastic music, no notable performance issues on the Switch, fast and fluid combat. I was very apprehensive about the reduction in party size but in this case I think it works well as Karja gets fantastic character development, highly recommended Ys game.

I have to admit as the 10th story made for this series. It is very good very interesting and the side quest do not feel as tedious as some of the other games….. my only complaint is that there is a lot of cosmetics locked behind DLC

Ys is an underrated series of action RPGs. Most of them I have played are really good. I've become a big fan over the years. This one doesn't disappoint! Hopefully the series keeps going strong!

Ys Nordic is a great addition to the series. Great combat and the story is pretty good. If you like the Ys games or adventure game then this is down your Alley. A must own for RPG fans.

This game runs very well on the nintendo switch. Great series. Its a must play. I wish the game nwver ended, its super fun.
