Loved this set especially being the first time having matcha.

I love Matcha tea. It’s very tasty and good for you. The starter kit was great for me because I got to mix it exactly like I like it and it helped me learn a lot more about drinking and using Matcha tea. Well worth the price.

Surprisingly, not bad at all

I really looked forward to receiving this set, and unfortunately it was disappointing. The glass mug is cute. That is the best thing this set has going for it. Two metal straws are included. As long as one does not injure oneself with a metal straw (I didn't, but it is possible) it is a great way to avoid plastic straws that are so bad for the environment.There are no instructions with the set about how to use it. There should be. Trying to get two AA batteries in the frother is quite difficult. It would have been great if the batteries were included and installed. There is 1.06 ounces of matcha powder. As you can see from the photograph of the open matcha container, there's not much in there. It would be less expensive to purchase some matcha elsewhere and add cocoa to it, if chocolate matcha is desired.I heated water to 212 F and filled the mug half way up. I used a teaspoon to vigorously stir the matcha. As you can see from the somewhat blurry photograph of the bottom of the mug, some of the matcha did not dissolve, no matter how much I stirred. I hope things would go better if one has a working frother.All in in all, a cute idea, but not well executed. No instructions included with the product. No batteries included for the frother. Batteries are quite difficult to put in the frother. Matcha does not fully dissolve with teaspoon stirring. Matcha is very expensive to purchase this way. I am not really tasting chocolate.

This set is beautiful. It comes with literally everything you need to make a matcha green tea. You can also make the latte version easily since it comes with a milk frother. The mug is so cute, it looks like a mason jar. It's got a very specific aesthetic to it. Definitely a fun gift set to have or gift to someone!

I got this kit for my daughter, who is a matcha fan, and of course, she already has all the items (yes, I did send her my frother a few months back), so that's not working out. But still, I really like the way it's packaged, and it would make a great gift for someone who is just getting into that novel drink ingredient. I was impressed by the lovely mason jar to drink from, with handle, and a good size. Not puny. The straws (2 in metal) go in there, and they come in a nice bag, which just adds to the cachet of the whole gift box. We have gotten our own frothers before for other drinks, but if you haven't entered that world yet, it's nice to have one included. So it makes a great starter kit for someone who is interested in matcha, likes the flavor, but who doesn't have the wherewithal to make it at home. There are various flavors you can try (chocolate matcha? Wha?) but I decided to go with the traditional. Fun gift for teacher/coworker/young adult in their own place for the first time. Nothing wrong with this set.

This is really a great product. All the included items are attractive and made of quality material. The Matcha itself was delicious - quality with a subtle taste of chocolate first time I have had this combination. Both of high quality ingredients. I usually use a ceremonial Matcha and this is comparable to that - taste and very fine powder. The first time I used the product I put the match in and than the liquid, due to the mug (which is the perfect size) not having a flat bottom, the Matcha clumped in the well around the bottom. The second time I made it I poured soy milk in first, than the Matcha on top of it and it than blended beautifully. The frother has the perfect power to it for the size of the mug. I have - should I now say had - another frother and it was too powerful that the liquid would explode out from the mug no matter what I did. I have made multiple drinks - added cacao and proteins powder as well. All easy and all delicious. Highly recommend as a gift for yourself or someone else.

I got this for my wife since she loves Matcha green tea. The kit comes with ceremonial grade matcha and the tools needed to make a delicious drink. She loves it and the glass mug it comes with.
