Q: What is the distance of the spacing between the holes (center to center)

Because my brachets are already mounted and washers cover the holes, I had to measure my bolts center-to-center. I approximate 2 1/4" to 2 3/8".

Q: Is there a wheelbarrow wall "holder" that works with the Truper 2-wheel version (plastic bucket) that will hold & secure it against a wall?

Check "The Family Handyman," where I have seen a simple wheelbarrow holder that should hold anything shaped remotely like a wheelbarrow.

Q: How about on a DIY yard cart...with a steel rod all thru ?

It should work on a DIY cart if the steel rod used as an axle is the same size as the axle bracket and the inner diameter of the wheels..

Q: Can these be spread open to fit 2&3/4" attachment holes?

They are already 2-3/8 spacing, so that would be only another 3/8 inch. I would say "probably," but that would distort the cylinders the axle fits into. Sounds like it might get a little messy. At $7.95 you wouldn't be risking much to try it. I take it you can't find the correct part to repair whatever it is you are trying to fix. Good luck!
