Still runs like a kitten after one year
I returned an Apple laptop I bought from Best Buy and bought this LG Gram laptop instead on a Black Friday Special 2024. Here I am one year later. Still happy with the purchase. It's obviously super light weight. The best feature to me is the light weight compared to other laptops. Runs smooth and fast like the day I bought it. No complaints. I mostly leave it plugged in. If I'm using it unplugged I normally turn the screen brightness down just a tad so it doesn't drain the battery as fast.

Great super lightweight laptop for non-gamers - battery life could be better.
I did a lot of research before upgrading my 10 year old laptop, and ended up focused here due to a positive Consumer Reports review. I really like the laptop - even though anything would have been better than my old Lenovo Yoga, I have been able to run Photoshop, have dozens of tabs open, and multiple applications running in the background with no issues. I really don't game on it - but I did experience some slowdown when I tried to run some resource intensive games on Steam. I know the graphics card isn't the best - but it works for everything else I need it to and then some. It's also super lightweight, and love the quality of the screen. Some negatives - I have to turn off the touch pad because I am constantly hitting it otherwise. I also find the keyboard cramped due to the number pad on the right. It took some getting used to, but it is nice having the number pad when you need it. My biggest issue with the battery life - it only lasts a few hours, even with power saving settings in place. I've know I run a lot of applications at a time, so that might be it. I rarely use it on the go however, so it's not a huge issue. I solved most of my issue with changing settings so my laptop hibernates whenever I close the lid - that way the battery does not run down overnight when not plugged in. Other than that, a great buy!

Awesome laptop!
Beautiful oled screen. Surprisingly light and thin. Perfect laptop for what I use it for; mostly cybersec investigations, teaching, and coding. Never going back to a non-oled screen. Runs cool and silent. Can do light to medium gaming. Runs Eve Online at 1920x1200 with a mix of high, med setting at 50 to 60 fps on Linux. Faster on Windows. Runs latest Linux versions well, currently using Pop!_OS. Everything works with Pop.

Terrible product quality, misleading advertising. Somehow worse customer service
This product is sold as “military standard” for durability. It’s not even kitchen counter standard for quality let alone something you’d want to rely on for anything life critical. I purchased the product on 11 November, received on 14 November. It worked fine out of the box and did so through 2 days ago. I attempted to turn it on today and it won’t turn on and I’ve noticed a crack in the screen. To be clear, the laptop has been sitting stationary on a kitchen counter untouched. I called LG to discuss and both their rep and his supervisor told me because “there is a point of impact” it is not covered. Corporate standards are corporate standards I guess but they surely don’t make a good, durable product. Worse they told me it was likely my pet (he’s no Olympian to jump on the counter) or child (who hasn’t been home and they don’t know about.) that likely damaged it. Again the computer has not moved in 2 days. LG surely deceptively markets the durability of their products and I’d surely avoid purchasing it if I were you. And, if you do purchase their products, don’t expect any customer service or for them to stand by their brand.

Large improvements over previous models
This laptop is very lightweight and works great. Very fast processor, runs Windows 11 great. The screen is much sharper and brighter than previous LG Gram models. Only gripe is that the number pad layout on the keyboard is a bit odd, but it is better for my uses than not having a number pad at all. If you REALLY need a number pad for heavy use you should probably be on a desktop computer anyway. Five stars.

Size, Weight & Display is Good
Size, Weight & Display is Good, not fully satisfied with Overall built quality and when compared to XPS, XPS is far superior. Even though the laptop is light weight, the power brick is very heavy, so while travelling, the overall experience - it is heavy. Connectivity - most of the time my Microsoft Arc mouse does not connect automatically - you have to do few switch ON/OFF. Performance is OK. Hope this helps

When lightness counts
Nobody else seems to make laptops this light. Good screen quality and performance in a pretty robust package. Even seems to pass some Mil-Specs. Only the battery life suffers when compared to ARM-based computers, but it's still pretty good. I've bought three LG grams over the years (two 17" and this 16"), usually just to get the processor upgrades. All have worked flawlessly with Windows and Linux.
