EE Unlimited Data Calls and Texts Pay As You Go Sim Card

Easy to set up. Put the SIM into a dongle (I use it on a desktop PC), plug the dongle into a USB socket and, after a minute or so, a browser automatically opens and connects to the EE web page. Activate it by clicking on 'Activate', enter the mobile number on the packaging and you're away. I get between 8-12 mbs which is better than BT Broadband where I used to get 4 mbs or less.

Popped into my child’s iPad, gave us streaming tv for the car for a year, didn’t use all the data so it expired. Did the job intended. Never made it to Europe in the end as expected, but understand it would work there too. EE has one of the best coverage of 4G as I understand it.

Great product easy setup would recommend

Great value PAYG SIM - with the longest active period I could find at 12 months. First one I couldn't activate - had an online chat with EE who said it was suspended - recommended I went back to Amazon - who immediately offered to replace it. The second one was also "suspended" by EE - but I called their customer service, and after giving details of the number and top up card, they un-suspended the SIM - and it now works fine! So if you go for one of these, make sure you call the EE Customer Service team on the phone to unlock it and enable you to access the 24Gb of data you have said for!!

This wouldn’t activate or work. Contacted EE who couldn’t recognise the sim number. Returned and Amazon gave a full refund so that was a plus. Went to an EE shop and bought a data sim from them which worked perfectly.

Excellent reception even in remote areas

I bought one of these a year ago and it has worked fine in my HUAWEI router. I have just bought a second one to replace this and it has been an utter pain to set up. I spent about an hour on the phone to EE yesterday and it still doesn’t work. I now have to wait for a call back in two days time. At times, I felt like I was just going round in circles. EE had never even heard of a card like this. Wanted to sell me a top up to activate it. Basically I slid the sim into the router, switched the router on, selected this network on my iPad, takes you to a registration screen and that is where progress ends. Can’t register the card to release the data and neither, it would seem, can EE. Who knows how long it will be before this works. I will request a refund next week if EE can’t sort it out.
