Worked perfectly
The install is a bit challenging but it’s not bad and there’s many tutorials online the product fit perfectly and works great too I would recommend it!

It is hit/miss on unlocking the door. is not complete).
This unit it’s very difficult to install. And then when I was done, mechanically works fine with the key electronically is hit and mess. Most of the time it does not work with the key fob. Way way too difficult to do an exchange for unit four hours to get in.

Works as asvertised
Works as it should. Smooth operation. As previous reviews the casket is a little thicker than original.

Perfect fit
This actuator was a perfect fit, solved my problem, everything works. It’s supposed to now. This was installed in a BMW Z4, it’s a little frustrating project to do especially with the barrel lock lining up not the parts fault. The job would be easier if you had little hands and skinny arms.(lol)

Excellent
Perfect fit, very easy to install, works perfectly. The only notable difference between this one, and the one from factory, is the electric motor inside the unit is slightly louder. But it's perfect in every other way.

Not Quite Perfect Fit for 2011 535i xDrive
I installed this yesterday and by and large it went in fine. As noted elsewhere, it's a tricky install due to the tight space you have to work in and there being a number of clips and wires that that need to be removed to even access the door lock actuator. At the moment, what I noticed is that this is not a perfect fit. I cannot yet determine why. It takes a little more force for the door latch to catch so that the door sits flush as it did with the OEM. It seems to be seated correctly, the electronic open and close work, the key works, and the interior door handle work. However, something seems to be slightly misaligned. I will look into this later or another day when my son gets home with the car but it is bothersome to me that it doesn't just work properly.Been about 10-14 days and now the unit will most often not open. It’s very inconsistent but trending towards never working. I can get it open sometimes but once I close the door it is nearly impossible to open short of a lot of locking and unlocking, jiggling the handles, pushing the door in and out, and etc. I went back in to see if the door pulls were detached or not correctly attached. They’re fine. The actuator sounds like it is opening when I use the fob or the button on the console but the latch does not release. So far I have eventually been able to get it to release but now I am worried about closing the door in case I cannot get it back open. I can’t say for sure that this unit is responsible but I also can’t rule it out. I can’t recommend right now.

Works perfectly. Tricky to replace.
Great product. Works in my 06 325i BMW perfectly. Be sure to do your research though before you start working on it. The process to get the old one out is quite difficult.
