D-Chiro-Inositol 60 Caps

Amazing stuff! Not only did my PCOS clear up, it stopped ovarian pain within 15 minutes of me ingesting it with myo-inositol. This is my fourth bottle, and while a clinical dose of it is based on body weight, it works optimally when paired with the myo-inositol. There is also relief from PMS and the devastating mood swings. While I have changed my diet, and that helped, nutritional supplementation not only kept me pain free; healing is going on.

I ordered these because they were more affordable than the Chiral Balance brand I had previously been using and it got decent reviews. It was a bad choice, as Chiral Balance offers more than twice the grams of DCI without binder or fillers. I ended up throwing these out. You get what you pay for.

I've used these for over 3 months with no problems and with great health benefits. Suddenly the last month's batch have stopped working for me. I haven't changed any of my other meds or food in the last month. Either something else is to blame or the amount of active (or unexpired) DCI was not consistent with what's posted on the bottle. It was great, while it worked.

This product did not work for me. I started taking it for PCOS, however in my specific case, both my inositol and D-chiro inositol actually make my symptoms worse and make me gain weight. It may work well for some, just not for me.

I started taking DCI the 12th of Dec 2011 and I had my period the 18/19th. That was on only 30mg of DCI with another brand they sell here on Amazon. I got this one because it is the cheaper of the two when you consider the mg amount. I started out with 600mg (1 pill 2 times a day) on this and am now on 1200mgs a day. There are other brands on external websites but I've only tried these two. In my research I found the others to be more expensive. This brand has worked real well for me even though I haven't ovulated yet or had my period. I have PCOS and this is my attempt to get my cycles back since I had my second baby in Oct 21st 2010. I have only had one period on my own since I stopped breastfeeding him the week after he turned one. That period was the end of August. Then my next period came after starting DCI. I think one reason I haven't ovulated yet while on this has to do with taking Wild yam root. I should not have taken so much for so long. The WYR (wild yam root) just messed my cycle up. Oh well live and learn. Anyway I read that it can take up to 2 months for the WYR to get out of your system for it to not be a contraceptive anymore. That was with some one that took it for 6 months straight. I only took it since the first time I started DCI and I stopped it about 2 weeks ago so hopefully I will ovulate soon. Also this passed week I have noticed a drop in my weight with out even trying. I haven't been exercising and not really been watching what I eat. Although I have had more salads this week but I have still been eating sweets like usual. One other thing is that I have had a decrease in cravings for carbs and have got more energy from being on DCI. This happened pretty much the first few weeks I started it. The end of Dec I started on an exercise routine but stopped a few weeks ago from over doing it. I lost 5 pounds while exercising but it took me about 3 weeks for that to happen. I gained it almost all back after stopping exercise. This passed week though I lost the 5 pounds again and the only thing that has changed is my sleeping habits. I have become more tired in the evening and have gone to sleep about 9-10pm and slept through the night. Before I have stayed up some nights until about 3:30am from insomnia. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant but I would like to lose as much weight as possible before that obviously. I will update when that happens. I'm hoping soon because so many woman I know are falling pregnant recently. 3 women at church, my best friend, and another lady on my facebook AND I happened to come across a friends friends wife that is also pregnant. I know I've had two babies already but my clock is ticking and I want to get this baby business done with, lol. I hope this helps anyone that is also TTC with PCOS because I have done so much on my own and know how frustrating and emotionally draining TTC can be. They have their own website and just recently started stocking their product in my local health food store. I'm so excited to not have to order online and let the heat get to it through the mail. My cycles have gotten shorter each time and I have more energy as time goes on. I am not pregnant yet and have decided to take a long break until I lose more weight. I have lost over 20lbs since taking but I haven't made any other changes so losing weight is a miracle in itself. I have also found out my sister in law and a family friend is pregnant, lol. Funny thing is is that I was never expecting them to get preggo. Oh well, that's the life of a TTCer, lol. Stay positive ladies! I finally have a sense of motivation and only good to look forward to now.

I was diagnosed with pcos in May of 2015, my doctor started me on Metformin which caused some unpleasant side effect (nausea, hair loss etc...) I stopped taking the Metformin 3 month later and began searching for alternative treatments for pcos when I came upon the inositol family. In November I began taking myo inositol (Swanson powder form) along with d-chiro once daily in the morning. It surprisingly gave me a lot of energy, soon enough I found myself at the gym 3-4 days a week to release the energy. In December and January I discovered my menses came right on time. During this time I also lost 15-20lbs. In February I thought something was wrong again because my menses did not arrive on time but surprisingly we received the best news ever, we became pregnant. My husband and I have been trying to conceive since 2013! I am truly amazed at the results! I recommend this product to any woman facing pcos symptoms and infertility issues. This is the first review where I've written more than one line and I hope it helps anyone out there who is facing the same difficulties that I was facing for the past three years.

headaches all the time. couldnt stop eatting. gained weight and bloated. period every 3 to 4 days!?! upset stomach. yuck! save your money!

The supplement itself is great for helping with the symptoms of PCOS, however it is hardly ever in stock and the price is always changing. Two months ago the product was $29.95 per bottle, now it is $48.15 ---supremely frustrating to have deal with this price gouging.
