Must have storage system
Well built. Met and exceeded expectations. Storing household items, handyman tools, e.g. screw drivers, keys, hammers, etc. so that they can be in one place and easy to find.

BRILLIANT! This is a very well engineered and built, rugged tool box.
BEST THING ABOUT IT: toughADDITIONAL LIKES: stacks well, accessory tray, optional accessories, struts, handles,WORST THING ABOUT IT: weights ~ 15#ADDITIONAL DISLIKES/CONCERNS: interior not rectangularWARRANTY: One yearCOMMENTS (Function, Appearance, Quality): Very impressed with this unit. It look, feels and IS very rugged. It is made of heavy duty polypropylene, which makes it nearly indestructible (see brick drop video). Unfortunately, all this ruggedness makes it a bit heavy weight in at 15 pounds, but that is easy to overlook given its design and construction. The multitude of accessories is impressive, especially the rails that allow tools and bins to be hung on the exterior while not it transit. It has an aluminum reinforced top handle, in addition to one in front (so you can carry it skinny side up) and two side handle slots. The lid opens & closes easily facilitated by gas struts and forms a water tight seal when closed. It has a fairly spacious interior, but corners are not square owing the the reinforcements in the corners. The QuickDisconnect feature is very nice as other tool boxes snap on and off easily without having to struggle to get it in just the right spot to get it to ‘click’ as with my other stacking boxes. Did I say it was rugged? Well it is. I was so impressed with its design and engineering I also purchased rolling tool box and the open crate from the local blue big box store. It is also reassuring to know it is a product of Chevron/Skil.MOST SUITABLE FOR: A_N_Y_T_H_I_N_GIS IT WORTH IT?: Everything is more expensive these days. These tool boxes are no exception. It hurts a bit to part with this much for a 6-sided piece of plastic, but this is a well engineered piece. Considering how long I think it will last, I’d say you will get your moneys’ worth.*PRECISE RATING: Big ol’ FIVERECOMMENDATION: If you are in the market for a new tool box or tool SYSTEM, you cannot go wrong with FLEX. I highly recommend it.(As always, I will report back if there are any durability issues with additional use.)PHOTO INFO (photos are loaded in order, but may be rearranged when finally posted):1) Exterior from front2) Exterior from back3) Open box4) Interior of box5) Accessory tray6) Hinge & strut7) Heavy-duty lockOn a personal note, I try to cover everything I think one might like to know about each product, especially something not covered in the listing. So, I hope you found something informative and useful in this review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. Good luck with your decision.*Rating scale:5 = definitely buy again, happy to have it (exceptional in several characteristics,)4 = probably buy again (decent job of doing what I need, excels in one or two characteristics)3 = perhaps buy again after researching options (functions OK, looks OK, decent quality, average life expectancy but no outstanding characteristics) (in other words, average)2 = would not buy again (low end/below average merchandise and/or service, but not totally worthless)1 = sorry I bought it the first time (poor performance in several characteristics, no redeeming characteristics)Characteristics considered: Presentation/Packaging, Quality, Craftsmanship, Materials, Functionality, Utility/Versatility, Instructions, Ease-of-Use, Comfort, Value.

great premium boxes
I have several different stackable boxes, dewal tstak, and tough system, tradestack, packout, and systainers.I think these might be my favorite so far. I have 2 now. The click mechanism is very easy to use and release. The materials all feel premium and durable. All the details ar good like the captured hinge pins being clean and pressed in well. Note they are not the cheapest boxes, they are a mor premium buy, but if you are a tradesperson or serious about transporting tools these will be worth it... for the diy type they are probably overkill.Other than the fit and finish/materials the accessories you can get for these are what makes the system. I got a cord holder, and a level holder, so holding larger things outside of the box that are needed is a big plus. The only real con is the weight. it is heavier than other boxes, by a not insignificant amount, but those metal mounting brackets and materials make it seem like its worth the weight. For my use case i may get a wheeled box for a rolling option, but its hard to justify the premium as i only do smaller jobs on the side vs an actual contractor. When i was an AC contractor though these defiantly would have been my go to boxes had they been around back then.
