Buy this and do it right.
An absolutely necessary item if you're going to convert from normal coolant to this non water-based coolant from Evans. Worth the money to do it right. easy to follow instructions and it works very well.

Works well. Available cheaper elsewhere.
Yes. This works great. I bought the more expensive "Evans" brand since I was using it to test their waterless coolant. It is actually the same brand sold elsewhere for much less, with an Evans sticker over the other brand name. The Evans sticker even has a clear background, so they aren't even trying to hide it.

I Replaced the regular coolant in my motorcycle witg evans power sports coolant. I used a shop vac in reverse to get the old coolant out ( I don't recommend trying to suck the coolant out because you will contaminate the shop vac that you spent a lot of time cleaning and drying, it works better to just blow it out with a bone dry vac.) After draining blowing removing hoses blowing again filling with almost a gallon of evans prep and carefully removing as much of the prep as possible without completely dismantaling the bike I filled it with just about a gallon of evans coolant rode it around to circulate the coolant well and checked for leaks. After all the time and money spent which I feel is worth it as long as I am sure my water content is below 3 percent it was a no brainier to spend a bit more for the refractometer just for peace of mind. The test is not difficult just follow the directions to the letter take your time and test more than once and compare results. As far as I can tell I have a 1 percent water content. I will check again after some time but feel I have done it right and am happy for now.
