If the wound is open, applying some vaseline over the wound and around it, will prevent any discomfort from removal. These can be cut to any size or length easily. These pads, along with Vaseline, the extra wide Ace bandages (sold here as well) and Witch Hazel have made joining the Shingles Club, bareable. I'm very grateful that these pads exist. Being physically tortured by such an ugly virus is one of the most defeating feelings I've ever felt, these really were able to get me comfortable enough to actually rest and sleep!

Wonderful item! I use it for my son who is quadriplegic. Self-adhesive so no tape to apply to my loved ones skin which is a plus. Anytime he gets an area of increased redness I use this to offset direct pressure and it heals quickly! Stays put for several days if needed and doesn't harm skin when removed. Always arrives quickly and safely. I subscribe this to make sure we never run out. Love it better than anything supplied by the VA!

This stuff is incredible-it provides padding, absorbs the yuck of wounds, and comes off painlessly without reopening the incision. If it was waterproof, I’d nominate it for an award!

Nice adhesion and great available sizes. Absorbs well and doesn't allow bleed through. Unfortunately I developed and allergy to them so cannot keep using them. I am sad about that as they are a good product.

This dressing I ordered from Squishy Dot was received and it looks to be of high quality, of which I have no doubt, however, as I purchased for my husband's wound management due to delayed normal delivery to our home for his care, I decided to buy this product since it sounded suitable for the purpose. It is stated that the dressing is Highly Absorbent but unfortunately after the nurse had applied them on a few occasions, the absorbency did not achieve the desired effect by drawing the moisture away from his foot and into the padding, it left the wound on his foot damp and did not appear to be absorbed into the pad at all when changed, sadly. Unfortunately I cannot recommend for the purposes of serious wound care that require the padding to draw the fluids into the padding and away from the skin surface to keep it dry. I am sure this item is suitable for many applications, it is of high quality materials and I appreciated that I had been able to buy something to be delivered quickly. This is an expensive product, it is not adhesive but I am sure it is suitable for many uses, just not for our purposes. Love the name Squishy Dot, by BTW.
