Really liked this bib initially. It keeps the mess off of baby and high chair. Yes you can just “wipe it down” IF you are just feeding dry food like cereal. However if you give purées or fresh fruits or vegetables, cleaning becomes more challenging. Rinsing with water and dish soap is then necessary. This bib is large so it does take a few minutes to hand wash, but still faster than an outfit change and wiping the high chair and straps etc. I have occasionally run this through the washing machine in a wash bag after it started to smell.After 2 months of daily use, the lining started to fall apart. The lining is now riddled with holes and food is stuck in between. We have to throw ours away as this just isn’t sanitary. We would buy another but the cost is too high to keep doing this. $25 x a new bib every 2 months is $150 a year. Would consider buying if the company changed the material to something sturdier. For now, I could not recommend this product.

It works perfectly for keeping my daughters clothes clean during mealtime. It's a bit of a hassle getting it over head and arms sometimes.. I often don't even try to get her arms through but she's a sassy, sensitive little lady and it's often not worth the fight especially since she wants to grab everything and throw/drop it. When she finally wants to feed herself it will be great. Its easy to wipe off which is necessary after each meal and much easier to take off than put on. I often machine wash it with her clothes and let it air dry. Has held up perfectly. The only unpreventable issue besides my daughter not liking how noisy and containing it is, is where the arm holes stretch food tends to get trapped if you're not diligent in wiping it off well each time. It took her a little bit to get used to it as well but she does great with it now. She doesn't like it left on when she's done eating though lol.

This is my second purchase because I loved my first one so much. Makes clean up so easy and I just wash it after every use like I would wash my plates. This make me feel a little better about letting my kid go wild with hummus or avocado because it doesnt get everywhere. Now I just need a helmet to protect her hair.

haven't found something so easy for clean up but it stays wet and gets moldy/smelly--after several months though, so lasts well for about 6 months

We didn't buy this for eating. We bought this for my 2 year old who gets car sick. It's been amazing to keep her car seat from getting ruined. Cleans up really great. Fits great around her and the carseat that she keeps her clothes clean too! I'm buying a 2nd one to take on our vacation.
