Just received and unboxed. Great sturdy safe, easy to set up combination. And I didn’t realize it had another hidden safe in the floor with a key!

There are three reasons why I decided on this safe. The 2.6 cubit ft size, the hidden compartment, and the alarm. As far as those, they work very well. I do like the design but noticed a few minor flaws (legs will not screw on, difficulty adjusting shelves, shelving lips). None of these flaws would reduce the functionality of the product. Again, none of these minor flaws reduce the purpose of the safe. I did contact customer service to discuss these flaws and they assured me that they are currently working to improve all of their products. Let's be honest, if you wanted to, you could walk into a gun store and purchase a safe, but you would spend at least 5 times more. This safe works and functions perfectly and even the safes that cost a couple thousand dollars don't have an alarm system like this does. Do yourself a favor and purchase this safe, buy some fireproof bags, bolt it to the wall/floor and you are good to go. I would say this is the perfect option. The outside is solid! I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on a safe, plus I move from time to time. The safe is 50lbs, which is not a hassle if I move. Again, the alarm is a big plus and is pretty loud. If you have the alarm set and use the key, the alarm will not stop for a while until you punch in the code or take out the batteries. I like this feature. Good to know if someone ever stole your key. I give this safe 5 stars because even with the minor flaws, this safe is amazing especially for the price. I previously purchased a pistol safe from KaveySafe and it was great as well. Spend money on this safe! It's worth it and if you have a problem then customer service will help you.

I bought this safe two months ago and it is *almost* finally working now.First, I couldn't figure out how to change the code or lock the safe. It wouldn't even lock it with a key. After a few weeks of thinking I'm a pure idiot, I contacted the company. A few messages back and forth and they had me trouble shoot my safe lock. The electromagnet was broken and needed to be replaced. They sent me one from China that took a while to receive. I just changed the electromagnet and the lock works. But I still can't figure out how to change the default code to my own. I just keep setting the alarm off. At least it locks, I guess.Second, this has been a lot of hassle, I should probably have insisted on a new safe. Instead, I agreed to trouble shoot and repair myself for compensation. They are offering me $10 for my troubleshooting and repair person expertise. That probably works out to about $2 an hour for my time and trouble. I should have just watched Netflix and enjoyed myself while I waited for the new safe to arrive.Third, the quality (other than everything listed above). It seems like a decent safe for the money. It's pretty solid and sturdy. It has a good weight to it. I know the alarm works.Fourth, I can't comment on the fireproof ability of the safe. However, I do question if it is fireproof. There is no fire certification listed anywhere on the safe. There are drilled holes for mounting, which probably affect the fireproof ability. When you shut the safe door, you can see the inside lights through the crack in the door where the hinge is. So, I'm not sure your valuables would be safe very long.My final thoughts. If I had to do it again, I would probably buy a different safe. Maybe stick with a name I know and trust. Amazon's rapid deal got me again.

I would not trust this thing to resist a fire. The metal is just too thin (for fire) and there is not much insulating material. That being said, the bolts are pretty secure and the touch screen works well. The keypad is a little hinky at times, but what sold me on this safe (besides the price) was the fact that it has a keyed bypass should the electronics fail. This happened on my sentrysafe and I don't want to go down that road again.Personally, I keep my items in fireproof bags and keep this safe well hidden. This item is great for peace of mind.

I am very satisfied with the quality, but underestimated how much stuff I would put in it and wish I had gotten the 2 cubic feet model. But I highly recommend this safe!

This is a quality product. It has 3 ways to get the safe open which should work for everyone that forgot the password. Construction is as good as it gets. The outside packaging is excellent. The shipping is fast and the price is very competitive. I purchased 2 of these at different times and would do it again in a minute.That being said this is not a negative statement but positive information that may help the manufacture and the buyer in the process of a sale. When opening the packaging I turned the box over to the top slowly so I could cut the bottom open and turn it back over and lift the box off the safe. When I did this, I could hear something flopping over in the safe so take un-packaging very slow. The 2 shelves were lose and moving around. Also, when programming the new entry code, it says to press the set button once and the * light comes on. I could not get this to happen until I pressed the set button once and then again within 2 seconds and the all the lights came on and the programming worked.Again, this is a quality product.Thanks,Doug
