I selected this from the Vine program because I had a specific photo I felt would work really well in it. It arrived packaged well, acrylic wasn’t scratched and didn’t have the crazy annoying films to peel off.The effect of the shimmering gold is pretty dang cool.The color of the gold glitter is a bit too harsh, too New Year’s party toned- I’d lean towards maybe gaudy? There are a lot of the large glitter pieces and they can get stuck after the rest has settled. Sometimes in weird places- on one of my trials I had two pieces stuck over my wife’s right eye and it definitely wasn’t a good look 😂Maybe I wasn’t realistic in my expectations, but I kind of thought from the product pictures that the suspension of liquid would allow the gold dust to stay overlaying the picture. It doesn’t really do that.Granted, there is something to be said for the mindful act of picking up the frame, studying it, shaking it up and watching the cascade of sparkles as you reminisce on the memory.The acrylic itself- there is a join visible on the top left corner as you’re looking at it and I find it a bit detracting from the overall frame quality and aesthetic. I would deduct half a star for this oversight in design. I have other acrylic frames, the magnetic type, and they do a good job of hiding the magnets and not appearing less sleek.The way you put a photo in is via a cut out on the back. It isn’t easy and the back fits very tight.Updated review after perusing similar options on Amazon. Overall, I’d recommend this and I enjoy it daily.

My kid knocked it off the table and it instantly broke and i have glitter water everywhere. The glitter keeps showing up even tho it broke over a month ago

I was really looking forward to this picture frame as I wanted to do a poem for my husband for his 50th birthday which is usually celebrated with gold. I ordered the gold glitter and was very disappointed when I received the silver. I was unable to return it.

The media could not be loaded. Simple assembly. Aside from photos as you can see in my case I am using it for collectible postcards from Japan. The glitter is beautiful and works great.

First one arrived already leaking. Ordered again and the glitter confetti isn’t at all as pictured. What a disappointment

There was so much glitter that you couldn't really see the picture when it was still. Which honestly, that's half the point. I guess it's some people's cup of tea but I didn't like it. The bigger issue is that the water was visibly yellow. Any picture put in had a yellow tint to it. I threw it away

Was a great gift for our grandma! Love the glitter! Just wish that it wasn’t so hard to put the picture in. Had to use a butter knife to get the back out.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive this photo holder block. I was expecting a light-weight cheap plastic frame for the price, but instead I received a high quality block of acrylic that is quite weighty and well made. A generous combination of shiny confetti and glitter are suspended in the clear liquid inside the block and it's fun to watch the glitter move as you turn the block. The block comes with a pretty picture that doesn't need to be replaced, but it can be removed easily from the back by lifting the plastic piece in the back. This photo holder block is a great gift for any occasion.
