Kids Natural Deodorant for Boys - Unscented - by Junior Varsity Naturals

I found this after looking for deodorant for my then six years old son. I was surprised that he needed it so early, but boy did he. I'm into more natural products anyway, and at his age my husband and I certainly didn't want to buy anything that would cause irritation or had lots of unnatural ingredients. He has now been using this for a year. He's still using the same container, so it can lasts for awhile. I recently ordered more because we can't afford to run out. I was reminded of that fact one day recently when he forgot to use it. I knew because I walked by him, and it smelled like I had walked past a bunch of raw onions. We live in a hot and humid climate. He uses it nightly after his bath, and this stuff is amazing.

Purchased this for my almost 8-year-old as we could not find any children's deodorant locally and could hardly find any online that didn't contain undesirable ingredients. This works great, even after summer days with no A/C at school or home. Not sure if it would hold up to teens, but works great for big kids who aren't quite 'tweens.

We were surprised when our cute little 4 year old started having major B.O. after running and playing. He had nightly baths, but when I would pick him up from preschool he smelled terrible. I knew something had to be done or he would soon become the smelly kid at school. This stuff is amazing. We apply it after the bath and before school in the morning and no more onion smell after a day of hard playing. He's now almost 6 and we're so glad that we found this. One lasts a long time (about a year).

I wish I could give a more detailed feedback, but unfortunately it was packaged terribly and the cap was cracked and product smeared inside the box. (It was packed in a flat box typically used to ship books.) So back it went. It smelled much like citronella, so I debating whether or not to re-order this product for my son.

My son has always wanted to do what Mom and Dad do.. including applying deodorant. Well- I really didn't want him using dads just for health concerns, so was looking for a natural alternative. He loves that he now has his "own" deodorant, and I love that it's made specifically for him. He's only 4, so the little boy hard working stink really isn't a problem yet.. So I can't really comment on how well that aspect of the product works.

I bought this because I was looking for an all natural deodorant for my 8 year old son. I had read most of the reviews and did not think it would be a hit or miss and decided to try it. It failed with my kid. After this, I also used it and I got the idea I smelled even more than when I am not using a deodorant, which was strange. It smells really nice and maybe it works with other people but with my family it wasn't so.

My 7 year old son has a lactose allergy (intolerance) that causes him to sweat and have underarm odor. We had great hopes for this product, but it does not last more than a few hours (meaning, not even through the school day). Gave it a few months thinking it was just the allergy odor overpowering the deodorant, but gave up and tried Tom's all natural instead. Instantly did the trick and lasts for a whole day.

My son loves this product think I'm going to get him another one he has sensitive skin and it was not an issue and it smells great.
