These are a game changer for set up time. They work great. Connect quickly and easily. They do require a power source so make sure you have that available. We are using them on light bars so luckily they have an extra outlet on them.

Simply added the transmitter to the output of a Chauvet OBEY 70 DMX controller and two receivers to the input of stage right and stage left light stands. Worked perfectly without any setup other than plugging in the transmitter and receivers. Very convenient and time saving to not have run a DMX cable between the controller and both light stands.

Our church drama team was putting on a reinactment of The Last Supper and Good Friday. We had never used our American DJ lights in the traditional worship space, which is much larger and the tech booth is in the very back of a very large sanctuary. Not only were we having functional issues with 7 lights daisy chained together, we were having to run a 100' DMX cable from the tech booth to the front. I was looking for wireless alternatives and came across these amazing little gadgets! Total lifesaver! We were not only able to remove the 100' DMX cable, eliminating a safety hazard and possible quality degradation, we were able to easily daisy chain three separate zones. Everything worked perfectly with no glitches or delays, even at that distance! Worth every penny and we are likely going to purchase another set!

Product works great. But all recievers need to be powered. I thought this was completely "wireless".

I love the way it worked for me, as it was literally plug and play. The channels it was on for both transmitter and receiver were matched out of the box. Feels, weighs and looks durable from my initial experience. The short version of this kit looked neat and not too cumbersome. The power supply or adaptor worked as it should. It really enabled me to set-up my controller quite aways from the light fixtures without running long dmx cables or snakes. The connection was pretty solid with very ignorable latency. With he power adaptor supplied, you didn't have to worry about running out of battery or charge, like the other version or brand. The auto frequency scanning feature prevented me from having issues with wi-fi being available at the venue or even with guest using their cellphones around me.There were a couple off things I noticed that could have been better; one, is the quality of the power adaptor could be better as it was very flimsy and didn't look pro-grade at all to match the transmitter and receiver unit quality. Second, is that the antenna of the transmitter came with the cable disconnected inside the unit. I have to unscrew the unit and connect the cable with the antenna for it to work greater distances. Aside from those two minor issues, it was good.For the three receiver and one transmitter kit, I'd say it was a good valued investment for my rig. I will definitely buy a few more sets of these to use on bigger events. I will give it 4-stars for now due to the couple of issues, I saw with this kit.

I love the ease of operation and reliability

Once I figured out that these were not the Battery powered Dongles like I thought I had bought, but you need them plugged in, then they worked great. I don't notice any latency and work awesome. I need to buy a few more but hopefully the battery ones instead so I clean up the wiring mess. Wanted these so I don't have so many wires hanging but still have wires for the power lol.

I had so much hard time pulling power wires and DMX cables to each of my 14 uplights, 3 spot intimidators, 2 swarms and 2 haze/fog machines. When I bought my first 5 Chinly DMX Wireless system, I was able to link most of my lights and saved ample amount of time. I was really amazed that I never had any problem with the signal being sent from my ShowXpress software controller through the Chinly transmitter. As a result, I now have 14 units of Chinly receivers and I have been using these for more than a year. I am a weekend DJ so I only DJ not as quite often as a regular fulltime DJ and with all those events I have performed this year (probably about 11), I have been so glad I have migrated to using the Chinly DMX Wireless Transmitter/Receiver system. I just added 2 color strip lights for my facade and my additional 3 more Chinly receivers I ordered just came in. Although I have more than 4 transmitters, I only use 1 for all the receivers (now 17 units) and I never had any glitch and never had any interference in any of my events which usually averages to 150 to 300 persons correspondingly having 150 to 300 cellphones mostly riding on the very busy 2.4Ghz band. All thumbs up to Chinly DMX Wireless Transmitter/Receiver system. I highly recommned this product.
