Not sure why the Nikon version of this does not last but these are a fine replacement. Fit well and you cannot easily tell they are not original equipment.

This eyecup works perfectly with my A7S. The soft silicone feels comfortable against my eye, and the extra depth really helps block out sunlight when shooting outside.
