This feeder is great! The app and schedule was decently easy to set up. Our cat didn’t like the bowl that it came with so we had to switch back to her old bowl and elevate the feeder on some books. The feeders does a good job of keeping food fresh and it also contains the smell well. It can hold about 2 weeks worth of food (we give 5 portions a day, 3 with the feeder and 2 manually with some medicine). It’s easy to manually give your cat food at non-scheduled times using the feeder itself or the app. The feeder has a camera with different angles, we had the lowest angle so we can see the bowl and only our cat’s head when she eats. There is an option to record and take pics of your cat, but it’s not continuous recording, you have to hit the record button. But it’s nice to have some confirmation that the feeder is working. There’s also audio to/from the feeder so you can “talk” to your pet when you’re away.

I purchased this 5 months ago and it worked great until a couple weeks ago when the food started getting jammed and not actually dispensing. The most frustrating thing is that the app says “timed feeding complete” despite the food not dispensing, because since it TRIED to dispense, it assumes it was completed. The first time this happened it resulted in my poor cat not being fed that day and me having no idea (he was meowing all day and I didn’t realize why) I didn’t make the connection until I was around the next time and heard the little motor trying to dispense but didn’t hear any food hit the bowl, then received a notification that the feeding was complete. This could be a real problem if you’re using it as a vacation feeder for a cat. The only way to know for sure if the feed was successful is to open up the camera at feeding time and make sure the food made it into the bowl. If you look later you’d have no idea if it was unsuccessful or if the cat just ate it already. It would be nice if the feeder took a photo of the bowl from the camera after the food is dispensed, or if the app could notify you of a jam. I was extremely happy with this feeder until this happened. It’s jammed twice now in the last couple weeks. The food size and type has not changed. I cleaned everything just in case there was a buildup, but I didn’t see one. With some improved features I would buy this feeder again, but if this continues I will have to try another one. Taking one star away for app not being as helpful as it could be, and one away for the dispensing problem.

I bought other disbursements systems and I had to return them. 2 of them had blue dots when looking through the camera, and others, disbursed too big of portions. I have a cat who is overweight, and one portion was too much. This one is PERFECT. Portions are much smaller, but you can still set it for multiple portions disbursed if not enough for your specific pet. Camera doesn't have a blue dot and works great. Camera adjusts so you can see food in bowl or higher to see the cat. The portion to put food in is very large, so food doesn't need refilling often. I highly recommend this one.

Couldn’t get it to sign on to our network. We logged other devices on and off to ensure it was not us or our network with no luck. Not recommended.

I absolutely love this automatic feeder we bought for our 40lb puggabull. It is reliable and easy to use and program. It drops his food at the exact times we set every day. We have had this feeder for over 6 months and no issues. Even when the electricity has gone off and comes back on we don't have to reprogram, it retains the settings. Love it and would 100% recommend.

Very reliable, our cats know the sound of the food dropping and come running!

this cat feeder works pretty well and the app is mostly straightforward. I would give 5 stars but the initial set up is difficult (or setup when you switch locations/wifi). But it's great if you only keep it in the same spot or rarely move it

Works amazing and the app is great! The camera is of good quality, the only thing is that the camera tilt is actually manual. You have to set it manually rather than being able to rotate it on the app. The auto feeding works as expected as well.

Very simple to set up timed feeder on the app. Everything works as described except for the amount of the "portions". The booklet says there are 24 portions to a cup of food, so 1/4 cup should be 6 portions. I found that the portions are larger. I measured the portions into a 1/4 cup measure, and on average it was 4 portions, so while I would very much recommend this feeder, I would also suggest that you manually feed some portions through it so you can see how many portions make up the amount you want to feed each time. It's kinda fun to watch the cat at the feeder with the camera if I am not home, but you cannot remotely move the camera around so generally you can only see them if they are eating. It has been a huge help in getting him on a schedule and to stop him bothering me at night or early in the morning!

The set up of this device is very easy and I’m thankful it works on 5G networks. The camera works well as does the microphone for voice messages. The only negative so far are the portion sizes - they are super small. It’s possible this is because the food my cat is on is a bit larger variety due to health issues. (Urinary care formula). I’ll mitigate this by increasing the portion sizes and/or feeding smaller portions more often. That will take some tweaking to figure out the right portion sizes for my 2 cats. Overall, I like this product so far and would recommend.

The portion sizes are quite small I'd probably say give two servings per cat but that's my opinion the food bowl is quite small I do wish I could have the dish further out so I could capture more of my living room but the two way audio work camera works well waiting to see how the night vision works and the auto feed part of it but the app when you press feed works well in my video it shows one portion and my voice is recorded through the app through the machine when It feeds them it can play that message you set I talked quietly so you can't really hear me but I'm sure if you talked louder it would hear it better
