Digital Car Voltmeter 12V ~ 24V – LED Display Battery Voltage Tester, Plug into Cigarette Lighter Socket, Portable Auto Battery Monitor for Cars, Trucks & SUVs

Had a flat battery in November 2022 due to the -8c weather, got the car jump started, taken it for battery test at local garage, they couldn't tell if the battery was recovering or not so failed the test but told me to drive the car to see if it would charge up and re-test it, I took it back to the garage they are saying it no longer shows as failed but charge and re-test,, it's getting tricky to determine if the battery is recovering especially with the winter we are having and the cold snaps and it being xmas and the car sitting on the drive. so I saw this item, which is fantastic, so small, clear display and it is showing the problem I have with the battery and that by driving about I am getting some improvements in charge and i'm able to track those improvements. Before I did this video, Car switched off , shows 11.7v, |I drove about 11 miles to Asda, tested it and it was 11.9v, went round the shop for 1 hour and half, retested in the car park before switching on the car, video is shot in rugby Asda car park. Got home, 12.1v, with engine switched off, so there is hope if I take it for another few spins. A new car AGM battery for Skoda Octavia 2017 models costs a whopping £358! so I'm doing all the testing I can to see if I can avoid replacing a battery which is just over 5 years old. What I like about this device it shows you clearly in digital form the voltage, and if you have the engine on you can see if your alternator is working as it should show this from 13v to 14.8v. Such an inexpensive useful item, don't need to get the hood open and a meter plugged in or use one of those devices that just shows lights, this is showing me exactly what I need to know. I have a blackvue magic pro / dashcam in the car which is designed to keep the cam powered when the engine is off until the voltage drops below and certain level and I can verify this is all happening while watching the this unit's display. Must buy for anycar!, answers questions like does my cigarette lighter stayed powered when the car is off, answer for mine is yes it does, so don't leave it plugged in when the engine is off and forget about it!.

Well made and simple just keep in y the cigarette lighter (if it is only live when engine running) and you will see when the battery needs charging

Bought this to monitor my 12v Battery in my Toyota Hybrid. Plugged into the accessory socket with the Hybrid system off but accessory mode on and it gave an instant and clear read out of the 12v battery voltage. Also when the hybrid system was turned it showed the increase in voltage as the system began charging the 12 v battery from the car drive battery. a simple easy way to monitor the health of the 12v battery and see that the charging system is working. Great for the price.

Good little voltmeter, doesn’t take up much room when not being used. Was delivered on time and is as described. Pleased with the purchase.

I was having issues with the battery on my car and needed to know what voltage I was getting. Too much hassle to get the multi meter out each time I went to the car, so this was absolutely perfect as I could check it without even having to go to the car battery. Gave an accurate reading too.

For what is it, it works and its okay, I've checked it vs a multimeter and it's about -ve 0.3v under (meter reading 12.5v, this reading 12.2/12.3v) - but I wonder if part of this is voltage drop from the battery to the plug. So if you are getting it for accuarcy then be advised, but also for £6 it's what I'd expect - overall okay of kit and if anything the low voltage reading can act as a safety margin so you don't drain your battery too much.

Funcina bien de monemto, pero tardo mas de una semana en recivirlo! No recomendo al vendedor!!!

Ich habe ingesamt drei Voltmeter getestet und die Werte mit einem digitalen Uni-T Multimeter verglichen. Der zu testende Gegenstand war natürlich eine 12V Autobatterie. Die Testkanditaten waren: 1) dieser Noname-Voltmeter für ~6,50€ 2) ANSMANN Energy Check (KFZ) für ~17,50€ 3) WINOMO Voltmeter für ~11€ Mein Fazit ist, dass der günstigste Voltmeter hier das Rennen gemacht hat. Die Messabweichung liegt bei 0,05V bis 0,1V. Es hat keinerlei sonstigen Schnickschnack (wie eine Innenraumtemperaturanzeige) und das Display ist gut ablesbar, als auch nicht zu hell bzw. die Leuchtkraft ist richtig angenehm, auch während der Autofahrt. Der Preis ist im Vergleich zu den anderen Produkten auch unschlagbar.
