I hate being shaken down. This is an item you buy because you really need it. It's priced ridiculously high as a result.However, the device works better than any device I've tried. I own a MSI Prestige 15 laptop, which is very powerful and capable even today, but it got so HOT I was concerned it would bake itself, and I reduced CPU, GPU and other use, so I couldn't tap its' full capabilities.This device forces air thru the laptop faster than the laptop can take it. At full force, air starts coming out of holes in the laptop I didn't even know existed, including between the keys. It keeps the ENTIRE laptop cool, not just the key spots like the built in fans do.I can do heavy work all day long with the cooler's fan at 600, with acceptable noise level for office work. If I push the laptop extra hard, I've needed to crank the cooler ip to as much as 1400 at which point it's pretty loud.Given how expensive the laptop was, and/or how much it would cost to replace, it's worth the price for what should otherwise be a $25 item.

Excellent product, delivers what is set to do. May be a little loud, but man does my laptop run cooler while playing games using this thing, before, even playing not so graphically demanding games, the game would start to stutter as soon as the temps were too high, but now, no stutters no matter how much I keep playing. Before, my GPU would go from 0 to 85 in just some minutes. Now, I can keep it on 60-65 without even having this device running at maximum power

But the Llano laptop cooler completely changed my opinion.This cooler consistently drops my gaming temps by around 20°C. Before using it, my laptop would hit 90°C+ during intense gaming sessions. Now, it stays closer to 70°C, even during longer play sessions. It has multiple speed settings and covers the full base of my 16” laptop. It’s not just a gimmick, it’s a worthwhile investment.Also to all the folks out there saying you have to push the button super hard to get it on, its timer based haha. I game on a Asus Zephyrus M16 with a 3070 TI and 12th gen i9. And it gets HOT. While I understand that using a gaming laptop is bad, it's all I have and it has worked great for a few years!So here's the good:Cooling: Great. I can notice a performance increase after longer periods of gaming.Control: Pretty good. You can change how fast the fan spins per 100rpm. Which is nice, so I can vary the noise levels.Form factor: Excellent. for me this is perfect it sits the laptop up nicely, allowing air to better circulate.And the bad:The power button is REALLY REALLY difficult to push. I have had it for a few days and I have got to unplugging it and replugging it back in to use it.The noise: this is the be expected, so I wouldn't fault them. But when the fan hits 2800rpm it is AGGRESSIVE. however my headphones drown it out.

Me and my son play games on the Asus Rog Strix G18 with 5080. I noticed it thermal throttles during gaming. It may be bad Liquid Metal application but it only really happens when we’re playing games that really put the laptop into work. Anyway, we play games on the laptop using an Xbox controller. I also have the laptop on a makeshift laptop stand, I’m using a camping stool that I laid sideways and it lifts up the laptop like 8 inches off the surface. Even though the laptop is 8 inches up, it needs more airflow to keep temperature down.So after doing some research, this brand came up in my search. I gave it a shot. One thing I don’t like is how they name it. I got the V13 thinking it is the latest model but it is not. I believe the V12 Ultra is the latest, I don’t even know. Anyway, this product really helps the G18 reduce temps. With our set up of using a makeshift stand that lifts the laptop 8 inches along with this laptop cooler and us using Xbox controller, it is just perfect for our set up. We’re far enough that the fan noise doesn’t bother us. I could see it being uncomfortable if you use the keyboard and mouse to game but luckily we exclusively play games with a controller. I chose this V13 because it doesn’t have RGB, our G18 already got the RBG we want. I’m really glad I got this product. Now I hope it will last as long as the laptop!

Works great for my gaming laptop - idle temperatures dropped about 5-7 degrees C, and gaming temperatures dropped 10-20 degrees, depending on what game I played, and RPM of the fan. An important factor to note is fan speed and noise, which will increase at a sharp rate as you heighten the fan speed. 300-600 RPM was quiet enough to go unnoticed, whilst maintaining a significant decrease in temperatures, 600 up to 1200 would be a bit louder, and decrease temperatures another 4-6 degrees, and 1200+ RPM would produce significant noise, and only decreasing temperatures by 2-4 on my laptop. For gaming, I found the sweet spot considering cooling and noise was between 800-1600 RPM, and 300-600 when idle. with Overall well worth the price for performance, and a must for any high-end gaming laptops.Other thing to note:Knob to change fan speed is quick and responsiveSize may be an issue if you constantly travel with itConveniently comes with a usb hubBuild feels sturdy and durable5/5 !!!
