Piece of junk.Receiver when plugged in would light up dial but do nothing else. no noise. no volume control no 58 different chimes. Transmitter did not function or light up. would not pair with receiver. piece of cheap chinese junk. instructions worthless.

Good doorbell choice for hearing impaired
I bought these for my neighbor as she could not hear her regular doorbell. Install to the hall chime was easy. Pairing was a little difficult but we got it. She could easily hear the tone afterwards.

Works, not very loud
As many other reviewers have stated, the instructions are so poorly written they might as well not exist. I got it working after a couple of tries. The extension cord suggestion is most helpful, thanks to the reviewer who mentioned it. Not very loud, but it'll serve to alert us when we're downstairs and someone is at the door. 58 ring tones is overkill. I just need it to go Ding-Dong, not to play the William Tell Overture (yes, that's really an option).
