Works really well easy to read

Great size for my mom's small arm

I feel a bit silly because, upon opening the box, I didn't see any batteries so I've been waiting to use it until I remembered to pick up some triple As. When I finally had the batteries and put them in, I pulled out the cuff to find four batteries rolled up inside of it. Whoops! The machine is simple to use and the quick start guide will have you up and running in no time at all. I will say that the cuff squeezes the upper arm fairly tightly, causing pain while you are trying to get your reading. It hurts much less on the lower arm, but I don't know how accurate that is because the directions say to put the cuff about an inch above your elbow. I've asked nurses about this before and I've gotten mixed responses. In any case, this device reads blood pressure quickly and is very easy to use, two big wins.

It is a good idea to have a blood pressure monitor in each household. You never know. I will need to run a few tests to see how accurate it is by comparing its reading to a high-end machine used in the doctors’ office. Hope, it its accuracy is reliable. I will update the review when that is done. At the same time, I am sure it will be excellent for tracing the changes within a short period of time. It is very user-friendly, light and portable. It is charged via the USBC, it can also store the history of up to 90- measurements with details for two people. One little problem is that the hydraulic pump wire is a bit short. I wonder if I could get one separately. Overall, it is a handy useful health-monitoring home deice, I highly recommend it.

This blood pressure monitor is suitable for all adults, but even more so for people who cannot tolerate the upper arm variety. The display is crazy large, super easy to read and the results are accurate. I’m a nurse who sees clients at home and this monitor has become the one I carry in my instrument bag, as it takes up much less room than my upper arm bulb cuff. Plus this is a perfect alternative for those people who cannot tolerate the pressure on their upper arm that a traditional cuff creates. The ability to plug it in or operate off batteries is a nice feature, as well.

I'm very pleased with this blood pressure monitor set. It's compact for a set with a cuff, is easy to use and to read, and is dual-power --- it operates on both batteries and a cord that plugs into a USB outlet. Its readings are consistent with my old blood pressure monitor, so I imagine it's accurate. And it's "intelligent" --- at times, it's filled to about 170 and started to release the air, only to stop, fill itself up to 200, then release and give me the readings. In those cases, the reading have been slightly higher than normal so I imagine it "knows" there wasn't enough pressure to give it a clear reading and it compensated for this. My old monitor doesn't do that.

I felt this took a little while to get a reading and that the squeeze it gave the arm was very tight. Almost uncomfortable but I can say without a doubt that this will make it more apt to get a very high blood pressure where another one may just say error. I think this is great value for what you are getting and a wonderful gift for anyone you care about whether they have BP issues or not. This is a great way to keep tabs on your heart health.
