Works great! Dealership wanted $1k for a new fob!
Huge money saver. Replacing the rubber button pad was a lot more clumsy on a pair of 12 year old key fobs than what the instructional video shows, but was easy to do in 30min using a knife and screw driver.

Be very careful of snap-in frame
After watching the video I was confident this would be an easy replacement. However, I noted that you have to be very careful when removing the outside cover as the screwdriver may also catch the small, snap-in frame that you remove in step 3. If you do, it will break. It's not the end of your endeavor if it does, but it makes it a bit more difficult to get that frame back into the new cover. Also, my snap-in frame did not just pop out like it showed in the video. I had to carefully work the screwdriver along the frame to ensure that it did not break, while carefully popping it out. Once you have the cover, snap-in frame and silver frame together, I found that it is much easier to line up the holes and then push from the cover until you hear the snap-in frame snap in place. Be sure you hear it snap for each button as not getting it to snap in place will hinder the button use. After getting it together I found that several of the buttons worked well but the lock button on both fobs, needed some extra effort (thumb nail pressure) to work. All in all it was worth the $7.51 (with tax) I paid and hopefully will work for several years.
