G9 LED Bulb 8W, Replace 75W Incendescent Bulbs, Daylight White 6000K, 360° Beam Angle [Energy Class E]

I wanted to switch to LED's from halogen bulbs but was looking for bulbs giving at least 550 lumen as the space where the lamp is place is big and the halogen 30W halogen bulbs light it up, but when reading or writing, still had to turn on another light to give me the proper brightness. I never used LED bulbs before so wasn't sure how bright these would be. When I got the package, I was a bit surprised how big the bulbs were so immediately I thought, "oh no, these will not fit the lamp." Still took them out, and hesitatingly, put them in. As big as they seem, they easily snapped into place, and 4 of these bulbs make the room very bright. it is a white light, and not the yellowish hue given by the halogen light. One week after placing them, they are going strong and the living room feels very bright. One visitor did comment that the halogen lights give more of a cosy feeling to the space, and that might be true. However, I'll be saving energy and I don't need to turn two lamps on whenever I want to read or write in the living room. We'll see how these bulbs perform over time.

Wow, I have just put 5 of these in a centre light fitting on a sunny day and I cannot believe how bright they are.They do stick out a bit from my shades but you cannot look at them anyway as they are so bright.I can't wait till dark to see how bright the room will be.Will update after dark.It's dark now and yes they are very bright and give off a bright white light.Most LED say they are equivalent to say 40 watt Halogen but they never are.In this case they say 75 watt Halogen equivalent and they are.Appart from the saving of energy they generate much less heat so you can fit one of these where the Lamp Holds states 40 watt maxAs for life expency only time will tell

These bulbs were purchased to replace dimmer bulbs in the bathroom. They fit well and provide much better light.

Only reason for not giving five stars is the base is thinner than the bulbs taken out ( also KINDEEP) so they are loose and wobble in the holder but the brightness is great although loose they still seem to make connection,

Big improvements on old halogen bulbs, wife wanted to replace the light fitting for more brightness. Not needed now as new bulbs so good

I opted for the 8W version and the brightness from them is very good. My gripe is that they suffer from light flicker. Very fast and is most evident when something is moving fast ie waving a hand etc. Bit off putting but seem well made and bright.

The bulb was an excellent daylight representation and was very bright which was exactly what I was after.Unfortunately they also had a dreadful strobe/flicker that wasn't immediately obvious but began to give me a headache. It was very noticeable if you waved your open hand in the bulbs beam as the apparent number of fingers on your hand seemed to increase.I shall be sending them back as I do not feel they are fit for purpose.

These bulbs were a disappointment from the start. Fitted in our kitchen, they emit a clinically cold, white light making the room look and feel rather more like a mortuary.However, according to the packet, they are supposed to be "eco-friendly" and have a "long lifespan". NOT THESE! Purchased in early October 2017, all 4 of the bulbs fitted have failed.Unless required for a temporary mortuary, these are not recommended.
