I had a similar lighter device that required you to push a lever and squeeze the trigger in order to get it to light. That was a pain in a*s. This lighter is really an extension of the hand held bic cigarette lighters. It doesn't require multiple finger squeezing to make it light, you just pull the trigger and it lights. When the unit is empty you just need to buy a bic lighter and put it in to make it new again.

What a great idea to cut down on waste if you go through a lot of candle lighters. Works perfect just like the regular disposable. The trigger works exactly the same. Lights every time. Seems very well constructed.

I love them and the fact they can be refilled.

They will require a few snaps when you load them and break in. The flame is not huge, but it gets the job done. After break in, hold the trigger down after the snap for a second or so, then click twice to start. It's better when you get used to it. Way better to pay a dollar for a reload small bic than paying six dollars for a long lighter....You can buy the bic 10 pack for about a 1.10 a lighter.

I don’t know how many of the others we have gone through but I love the idea you can replace the little lighter in the bottom. Less waste and I’m here for that. They work pretty awesome and do what they are supposed to. They are super light, great quality and the functionality is a 10/10. These are a money saver as you only have to purchase a small tiny lighter when it runs out of fuel.

These would not light 90% of the time! If you take the actual lighter out it will light everyt time. They did not make these compatible or I got a bad bunch.

I loved the idea of this Reloadable Multi Purpose Lighter that would allow me to swap out the regular lighter when it stops working. I figured it would save me money. When I first put the included lighter inside -- it lit up just fine. But on subsequent tries, it fails to light most of the time. I'm not sure what the problem is, perhaps just a bad mechanical connection inside? I certainly followed the diagram on the back to place lighter inside correctly, and it does light up on maybe 25% of your attempts. Disappointing.
