Wonderful, if You Know What You're Buying
As someone who reads reviews, even for the smallest of purchases, I had the WORST time finding one from someone who knew what they were getting when they bought the Lily 2. So, I'm writing this on the understanding that no one will likely ever see it, since this watch has been out for more than a year. Having been a Galaxy watch owner since the 4 came out, I upgraded to the 7 this year, simply because it's cheaper to keep upgrading than it is to buy new. While these watches work well and have a lot of features, I'd started to wonder if I even needed one anymore. I've never used the majority of the features offered and find myself only really wanting the practical ones, like notifications, "find my phone," timers, answering calls from my watch when my earbuds are in and my phone is in another room, and the actual clock. I also liked some of the health features like heart rate and fitness tracking. All the other stuff had just become noise that had overwhelmed me to the point that I wasn't even using the things I did like. In addition, I find traditional smartwatches ugly and clunky, no matter how pretty the band, because I have a slender wrist and they're all huge. So, when I received a full refund for my Galaxy Watch 7, after it malfunctioned, I decided to try something else. Enter the Lily 2. I scoured the internet for reviews on this watch, because while simpler, it's actually not cheaper than the alternatives and I was unfamiliar with Garmin. Every review I read included negatives for things like lacking GPS, not offering a lot of customization, and battery life. Many recommended larger and more complicated Garmin watches instead. The thing is, I don't WANT these features, ESPECIALLY when the trade-off is a larger watch. Yes, the Lily 2 Active has GPS and a longer battery life, but I don't go anywhere without my phone and my Galaxy Watch had to be charged nightly. GPS is not a benefit to me, nor is longer than a 5 day battery if it makes the watch only 2mm smaller than my Galaxy Watch. Other recommendations were actually even BIGGER. At 35mm, this watch is so small, it looks closer to actual watch size on my wrist. The lack of customization is what makes it so pretty. The white lights are clear, bright, and simple, in place of gaudy bright colors and photo backgrounds. When it's blank, you just see the gold swirls, instead of a dark screen. It's absolutely beautiful with the off brand leather band I bought. For what it is SUPPOSED TO BE, this watch is amazing. I'm not missing a single feature I wanted and the smaller size is such a treat after five years of clunky, ugly smartwatches. The display and wrist motion sensors are accurate, the display clear and easy to read, even on a smaller screen. The connectivity and app are great. The "find my phone" feature is LOUD, which is wonderful. The heart rate and step trackers seem pretty accurate, as someone who is by no means a fitness guru. I'd wager they're more accurate than the Galaxy, since fitness is Garmin's specialty. It has options for things I may or may not use, like menstrual tracking and hydration. If I don't, it's easy enough to remove them. I absolutely love this watch. I'll never buy another traditional smartwatch again.

Suits my needs
Overall I’m very happy with this watch. I wanted Garmin technology, in a classic looking watch that I can wear all day, and doesn’t look “sporty.” I also have very small wrists and hands, so the small face size is suited. I’m satisfied with the features it has - not all the Garmin options, but certainly enough for me, with sleep/HR/steps/o2 tracking, and options to record my workouts. While I don’t have other options to compare to, the battery life seems reasonable to me - I charge every 3 days or so (with o2 tracking turned off). A couple things that bug me are both related to the charger. First, I’ve only had this a few months and already I have to clip the charger on “just so” to be sure it’s charging. Sometimes I come back hours later and it hasn’t charged - that’s really irritating. It’s also not possible to reboot the watch without the charger - it will turn off, but will only turn back on with the charger attached. This leads me to my third issue - a couple of times, the watch has suddenly just stopped tracking my heart rate. The only solution seems to be to turn it off, and charge it to turn it back on. This is frustrating, especially since the charger is a proprietary one, so if I’m not home, I can’t fix the issue. Maybe compared to other Garmin offerings, this is a “lower” price point, but for me it’s a pricy enough purchase that I am taking off a star for the charging and rebooting issues.

Lily 2 for the win!
I have had it for a week now. I charged it on day 6 and honestly could have waited until tomorrow, but I will be away from home when it needs to charge. I love how small and pretty it is. It keeps my step count much more accurately than any of the 10 or so fitbits I have owned over the last 15 years. The app is better than fitbit and I like the standard features you get without having to upgrade to a premium app experience. While the fitbit app was pretty good, Google fitness is terrible. For those reasons, I love my new Garmin Lily 2.

Great watch with a couple of downsides
PROS: - The Lily 2 is smaller and prettier on my wrist than my bulky Apple watch. - It does everything I need a smartwatch to do - view the time and date, set alarms, count steps, measure heart rate, view weather, receive notifications of incoming phone calls and texts, turn on/off silence and sleep modes, and a Find Phone feature. (Although the Find Phone feature is limited to close distances only due to a lack of GPS capability, I knew that going in. It was a choice between size or GPS when choosing a watch.) - I can't answer calls or texts on my watch, but that's actually a plus as it allows me to be more present and a little less distracted. CONS: - The lack of an always-on feature! Although it's easy enough to use a wrist flick gesture to view the time and other info, it's more aesthetically pleasing to have a steady display that looks like an actual watch. I knew this going in, but the lack of choice still irks me. - The band that the watch came with is incredibly cheap-looking - like, Temu or dollar-store kind of cheap. I bought a new band that makes the watch look much nicer, but the lack of investment in quality was surprising to me.

Terrible, do not recommend
Returned this after trying it out for almost a month. I really wanted to love this because it looked so cute! My issues were that the sleep tracking was incredibly inconsistent, you have to set your sleep and wake times and then it will track sleep based off of that. If you work night shift like me you never go to sleep and wake up at the same time so it would just not track my sleep at all and sometimes would say I was asleep when I wasn’t. The battery life was horrible, I was lucky if it lasted 3 days but it was usually 2 when it’s advertised as ~5 days. The fitness tracking was also horrible, if you don’t have cell service you can’t start an activity so good luck tracking your hike if you don’t start with cell service. Also when you do start your hike it will start a timer once it finally catches on that you’re doing an activity and then the only thing you can see on the watch face is the timer, not the actual time. So on your multiple hour hike you’ll have to end the activity to be able to see what time it is or pull out your phone. There were also several times I would look down during the middle of the day and my watch would just be in sleep mode??? Also the button on the bottom malfunctioned quite a bit and just nothing would happen when I pressed it, this probably happened once or twice a day. I reached out to Garmin support about all these issues and they were no help. Thankfully I realized I hated this product while I was still within my return window so I could get my money back. I’d save your money for something better.

I love this watch, period!
I wanted a small, elegant smart watch to look good on my small hand and tiny wrist. My previous one was cheap and the smallest i found, but still looked bulky on my wrist which made me not wear it in the end. I wasn't familiar with Garmin, but somehow i found it on the net and fell in love with the look of Lily 2. Read so many reviews, many mention unresponsiveness and issues with the app, but i really liked it and decided to give it a try, although it's an expensive watch. I also had issues for the first 2-3 days - with responsiveness of the touch screen, the app, the connection to UHC rewards program, the sleep schedule, etc. But i liked the watch so much and it fit perfectly and looked beautiful on my wrist, that i decided to give it a few more days. Surprise, surprise! I played with the settings, the app, etc. and i got it, it works perfectly, it's being a month now. People, all you need to do is learn your watch, don't give up on it! It does everything it says it does, everything i wanted from a smart watch and it is absolutely beautiful, elegant and stylish!! The app gives me a very good "view" of my sleep, all features work great when you need to connect it to your phone (notifications, weather, etc.). The connection with UHC Rewards program is flawless, it is a fantastic watch! Bought a bunch of different colors silicon bands to fit my outfits and it's like i have a new watch every day. Love the fact the screen is not always lit up, love the customization on the look of the screen, love the size of it, the watch faces are elegant and classy, love everything about this watch and hope to use it for a long time. After a month of use i can firmly say it is worth the money!

Best Feeling+Looking Fitness Tracker Watch
This is absolutely exactly what I was looking for - so much better even than the pictures! It is not nearly as bulky or large as it looks in the pictures in the reviews, it is delicate yet plenty big to see and operate everything. I am so impressed with the texture and quality materials this watch is made from, and the classic coloration, wow. I have the off-white one. I couldn't be happier with the ease of the app, the info on the watch face, the aesthetic, the ability to customize the watch and app exactly like I want, and the lightweightness of this incredible work of art. I have tried fitbit, xiaomi, and some other and this is soooooo much better than everything else. I haven't had it for more than a few hours so I will see how the metrics are, but so far it seems to operate more like the fitbit, which metric-wise I liked. (The fitbit's update to the google health app turned me off and I just didn't like it anymore.) If you're looking for something that is comfortable, light, easy to read and work, THIS is it!!!

Watch face stopped responding on touch to wake
I got this Garmin watch because I’m a small person so I have very petite wrists, and I had already tried 3 other smart watches that were not name-brands. I love how small and comfortable it is, and it looked so cute on me. But more often than not, the watch face doesn’t respond when you touch to wake the screen. It’s incredibly disappointing for how expensive it is. I got this Garmin Lily watch because I did NOT want an Apple Watch… but I ended up having to get an Apple Watch anyways…

a good simple smart watch
It does what it needs to do; I bought it because I want a watch that shows the time and my daily steps so this is the perfect choice for me. The battery lasts for days (I usually charge it once a week). Phone notifications go through but you can’t reply directly on the watch but it’s not a problem for me. The UI is also very simple so it’s a no brainer to use it. It has a pretty wide range of exercise activities that it can record (never used it though heheh :p). Overall, it’s a good watch for those looking for a simple, chic smart watch for daily use and perhaps those who’s more exercise oriented :D
