These are exactly what I needed to help set 30+ fire doors in a hotel that's updating their look. Even heavy doors can stand with ease and be very stable. Lining up the hinges is just a matter of raising or lowering and wheeling into position.

Saved time and allowed me to install the door without any assistance. Everything worked on this product as it should. Once installed on the door it makes it very easy to move the door around as needed. Several more doors to install. On the pricy side but worth it.

We are an Access Control Provider for Security and part of our servicing is replacing failed electrical components.We needed the Door Stud to help remove 4' wide fire doors from their frames so we could replace the full length hinges that have failed. The doors weigh over 250 lbs and are very wide at 4'. These Door Studs were game changers from trying to move and orientate the doors with muscle and a door dolly. Once we put these under the doors, leveled them to the floor we were able to easily remove all the screws on the frame with out binding and simply roll the door away from the frame. We replaced the hinge while it was standing and moved the door back in to place with ease! I can say the with a normal 3' 0" door and typical hinges, this is now a one man job. We did 3 Fire doors with complete full length hinges changes and having to drill 50% of the holes new in wood and steel done in less than 3 hours with 2 men. This is a game changer if you are doing heavy doors!!! Great product!

I've been using these to install interior doors by myself (along with installation clips https://amzn.to/3uTACBe ) and they are really nice.A bit of an annoyance is the clamps that hold them on (and the door steady). They don't align with the holes through the steel unless you press on them while closing the clamp. Also, I wasn't able to get them to hold very tightly. I tries adjusting them on the screw, but there isn't much play before the clamping show falls off. Minus one star for this design flaw, otherwise great!

I have installed Commercial Doors for over 40 years. They are heavy and often need correction because the metal frames were not set correctly, as we all know. I learned techniques to save my back over the years and discovered a different manufacturer of these door installers last year. I fell in love with them but they were not very durable. This manufacture is phenomenal! Durable, very adjustable and have a solid feel rolling around. I highly recommend this one. Worth every penny!! Don’t put yourselves through not paying the price!

Great concept but bad execution. I’m returning it. Box arrives and every single part requires assembly. No instructions btw. Clamps require adjustment right out of the box to secure 1 3/8 or 1 3/4 common door thicknesses.Each set of wheels is independent and falls over onto its side while trying to set the door in it. Not worth the price for this level of inconvenience. It’d be worth the price if it were assembled, adjusted to work with the 2 common sizes of door thickness, and the 2 sets of wheels were connected together so they stay in alignment and don’t tip while you’re trying to set the door in it. Otherwise save yourself the time to assemble, watch it not work, and then return.

Ever tried to remove a heavy door by yourself? This quality product makes it so easy. I love the ease of how you can remove a door, make your repairs/ adjustments and reinstall it in just minutes with very little effort. You may think this product is somewhat pricey, but good stuff isn't cheap and cheap stuff isn't good. You definitely get what you pay for! I highly recommend this product. I use it all the time and it turns a two man job into a one man success story!

Yes this kit will help you install a door but by the time you get all the adjustments right and figure out how to use it you could have hung 3 doors. And yes I am a Builder and used to have my CC License and am a very intuitive person. This kit is not for the do it yourself crowd. And it definitely should include video instructions and yes I went on YouTube and highly recommend doing so but it will still be a complicated process to get familiar with using it. I am generally in a hurry and had hoped this would save me time......NOPE possibly after using it a TON and getting extremely familiar with this it may help. I am keeping it so there’s that...
