My own fault really, as I knew it was a fixed diffuser and that I’d have to try and fit to light pendent without putting my hand in from bottom of the shade. Likewise, the bulb. So if you have a high ceiling like me, then make sure you’re confident that you can fit this shade without risking injury standing on the top step of standard step ladders.

Stylish, nice quality shade for the bedroom which is almost identical to one I have in the hall but with one design difference . I should have paid attention to the reviewer who said it was "a bit of a jiggle" to get the bulb in!Unlike previous purchases, the diffuser doesn't come out - it's firmly fixed in place. As a result, unless you have small hands, it really is awkward to get the bulb in. In terms of not seeing the light bulb at all, would recommend a small globe bulb.Overall, though, pleased with the purchase.

We spent so long searching for lampshades and finally plumped for this one and so pleased we did.It’s ideal if you want something simple yet elegant, but also practical in that the bulb doesn’t show/daze you.Went up without too much fuss or fiddling and they look great. Well made and sturdy.Definitely recommend!

We love this. Very simple and looks great high up on the ceiling. It's not too big or small, perfect for a bedroom.It's modern without looking like many of the more futuristic designs I kept coming across recently.
