I had one near disaster with a hose that was connected to another hose spigot where I shut off the water. I noticed that the hose coming from my house to that spigot had a large bulge in it and luckily saw that before it blew and flooded my basement. Replaced it with this hose and I can sleep at night now.

I own a condo and this hose is perfect for watering my small patio garden. I've tried others like the pocket hose - it's too long when fully extended and wastes water when it contracts for storage. The small metal hose is flexible and fits well in a small hose pot. AND it looks good too.

I've bought several of these recently and I've been really pleased with them. They're easy to attach, don't leak or drip, and look attractive. Best of all, they're available in different lengths so you can get a hose that covers the distance you need without leaving a lot of excess. My favorite feature is that -- unlike normal plastic garden hoses -- they don't "fight with you" when you try to lay them out. These hoses lie flat naturally.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Not easily tangled. Seems easy to maintain

Was the perfect size, everything that I read about was true to the point.

These are flexible metal hoses on the outside with rubber type hose inside. I needed them for a drip irrigation system where the hose might be stepped on. The metal will last a long time, but the inside rubber can leak. The first one leaked in the third season we used it, but I replaced it with a new one, because they look good and protect the hose when going over a sidewalk.

The green plastic overlay does make it easier to attach the hose. I use the short hose with a valve attached to a longer hose, so that I can adjust the coverage of a sprinkler to stay within the area to be watered while watching the change in coverage close up, but not so close as to get wet myself.

This is a wonderful hose. It attaches easily, does not kink. I should have bought it earlier.
