Works my plug's configuration for Level 2 Tesla charge
This adapter cord fits perfectly when I swap out the 120V (Level 1) cord, so I can charge my Tesla at Level 2 using the electric dryer plug in my garage. Just take special note of the required plug configuration of your outlet to be sure you order the right adapter. It seems 240V plugs vary by amperage (I think)

Overheated but Lenz provided full refund
My unit proved defective and started overheating after 2 months. Lenz was very proactive with their customer service and gave me a full refund after they learned of my problem. Defects happen, but I’m impressed with their commitment to providing good customer service, so I’m giving them 5 stars. As a result, I would buy from them again.

Almost damaged my Tesla
This product is defective and almost ruined my car. I have only used it a handful of times and every time my Tesla would stop charging because it was “overheated”. I had a company come to check the wiring of my charging station multiple times only to find out that it was coming from this DEFECTIVE adapter. Now that I have figured this out, it is past the return policy. I’m so upset that I can’t return it to get my money back when it has only done damage and cost me multiple visits from the electrician. I spent almost the same amount on a new adapter through the Tesla website and can finally use my charging station in peace. The only reason I initially bought it through Amazon and not Tesla was due to delivery speed. That was a huge mistake! I ended up receiving an authentic one through Tesla within a couple days.

It works, and that is all I could ask
I recently changed out the outlets in the garage to weather resistant 20amp outlets as I have a 20amp breaker, so this cord really helps with the new outlets and functions properly.

Good Product!
I checked out a few other brands — one had cables that looked really thin and kind of wavy in the pictures. This one's ETL certified, so I feel a bit safer going with it.

Works great! On the pricy side though. Can get a tesla one for the same. But so far it’s holding up!
