I don’t often write reviews but I feel this product warrants one. I read other reviews on this and whilst some are mixed I decided to get this to bring home my two kittens. I bought it for the sturdy frame, which once clicked in is very strong. I understand people’s views on how the base fabric can dip slightly but this can be easily rectified with a thin piece of mdf in the bottom and either a pet bed or blanket on top. For my use it isn’t an issue and there is plenty of space for the kittens to grow. I will still be able to use this once they are fully grown.The kittens also loved it and were really happy to go in it. I had no issues getting them home and they both curled up together in it for the entire journey. It is a bit wide for my front seat in the car so is definitely best suited to the back seats and I love the added security of being able to put the seatbelt through to secure it. The fact it also folds down for storage is a plus for me as I’m limited on space but this could also easily stay up and become a pet bed with the side left open.I would definitely recommend this product. It’s better than any other pet carried I have used previously.

This is fabulous. My pooch loves it. In the house he uses it as his penthouse and in the car he can have the space he likes, but with the security that, should you need to perform an emergency stop, you can rest safe that they’ll be safe as houses in this. No hard sides for them to get hurt on, this, I really don’t want to call it a crate, it’s more like a safety house for dogs, cats etc. I have a Welsh Springer and he loves it. Originally we were not going to use it in the house, seeing as he’s a well tempered dog. However, we put it up to look at it and he just popped himself inside, we tried to get him out, but he groaned and moaned. My dog only needed a medium sized one, but I went for the next one up, just to allow for space for him to play in it with his toys. It took a lot of getting used to seeing my pooch playing around in the rear view mirror, it’s such a pleasure to see him happy and he loves goi g out in the car. The other great idea is is, they’ve given this product 3 zipped openings, one on top, one at the front and one at the side. Prior to owning this we used to have to get him in the car and then clip his collar to the seat belt socket. When on the move he couldn’t settle and tried to jump off the seat. These days travelling is easy quick and extremely safe. On the top there is a storage pouch to put leads and such in and it comes with a collapsible bowl. The base is fur lined and my pooch loves it. The build quality is outstanding. This also comes with a shoulder strap…this product is so light, even with the dog in it. To fit it in the car is simple, place the product on the seat and pull the seatbelt through the diagonal strap at the back, and clunk click, off you can go on your merry way. It’s a simple click and the the product can be removed without any hassle whatsoever. To top it all off, I got this at a reduced price! So pleased I purchased this. This has to be the best thing I’ve bought for such a longtime…it’s really fantastic, it really is.

Extremely sturdy. Good size. Easy assembly - didn’t need to read the instructions even 😀 the only down side is it needs extra Velcro to hold flaps in place : easily remedied, I suppose.

Brilliant collapsible crate very good in the car on back seat and the seat belt goes through handles on the back so is very secure, dog seems to like it!

Great pet crate it's quite large which is good for a growing puppy she loves it it's good for training as well if you need a break lots of air circulation so no need to worry when you close the crate for bedtime

Previously purchased the medium for our JRT but it overlapped the second seat in car which wasn’t ideal. Ordered small one and our JRT can walk in, turn around and sit down with head brushing roof. Has a furry padded removable base, a detachable shoulder strap that I’ve never used, a small pop out silicone water bowl with carabiner. The carrier arrives flat and popping the frame together inside makes it rigid. This was very easy to do on the medium one but very very tight on the small and needed sons’ strength to do it. I am a bit concerned that when I’m away in the campervan on my own I might struggle to collapse it when needing the space. It looks as if they’ve used same size frame for both so the frame ends overlap more than they should on the small one. You have to feed one end into the other and engage the lock which you press in to pull apart to make flat.I would recommend the carrier as it’s lightweight but robust and the pet can walk in or be placed in through roof. Plenty of mesh for ventilation and view and two small storage pockets for supplied bowl and your own poop bags etc. an extendable lead would not fit the storage pockets though. Pet isn’t connected to anything so they’re free to reposition themselves without getting tied up. Daughter also has medium one for her JRT but is thinking of purchasing the small one for same reason as this one only takes up one seat when used with long side against back of car seat. Attaches by threading seat belt through strongly stitched loops on carrier. I hope you find my review useful.

unfortunately i dont appear to able to give this product a ZERO rating, trust me 1 star is way to generous.I purchased the crate, in advance, for my dog as we will be travelling around a lot this year...We used it this week for the first time. My dog is crate trained and relaxed. After placing him inside the crate he settled in for our journey. Within in 5 minutes his head pushed up through the material and tore the seam between the zip and the fabric with total ease....the same with the front entrance to the crate....so although its a crate for a medium sized dog, i wouldn't be happy to put anything in it bigger that a Yorkshire terrier and even so you couldn't be sure it wouldn't break through the material.Do not waste your money, easier to put your pet in a newspaper , might be better quality. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
